    The same thought occurred to me when i was contemplating my (very overdue) new 'puter ... turned out the graphics card, a geforce 3, was exactly twice as powerful in clock speed and RAM as my last CPU/mobo ... 266 mhz/64 Meg vs 133 mhz/ 32 Meg ... by the time i upgrade again, i'm wondering if it'd be possible to use the 1.4 Ghz/256 Meg athlon box as the GPU ... (maybe via a really long IDE-like cable from the AGP bus or the like)

    this page from excite japan does a pretty good (mostly just hilarious) on-the-fly translation of pages from japanese to english and vice-versa. Copy in the URL (right button is japanese-to-english, left button is english-to-japanese) and away you go!

    It's a cookie farm and you'll be trapped in an excite ad frame, but it's usually enough to get the gist of the page ;)

    This is one of the reasons i prefer opera. As many browser windows as you like, one taskbar icon.

    in general though, wouldn't it be possible to hack together a little right-click extension to "close all instances of this" ?
