The author of the slashdot article says "This is the first known legal action by Apple regarding the hacked version of OS X and calls into doubt the future of other news sites, similar to the OSx86 Project."...
What did he think Apple's reaction to this would be?
I for one am totally SHOCKed at apple's new stance on hacking their products.. this is SOOO FRELLIN SHOCKING!!
I have a hard time understanding why Slashdot ran the first story about Maureen's article... Nice to see that CoyBoyNeal has a purpose besides stupid polling options.. Idiots...
This seems to be a fork of ideas from common UNIX thought. "No Sir I didn't like it". I say it is too different than your standard SysV UNIX.
If they feel that this is SOOOO important then fork a new Linux kernel/distro and call it Desktop Linux, and leave the rest of the world, where we are happy with things the way they are alone.
p.s. Yes I am scared of change.
"Mary had a crypto key, she kept it in escrow, and everything that Mary said, the Feds were sure to know."
Now there is a sig... I almost fell out of my chair laughing!!
Isn't this considered some kind of in-sider trading?
Doesn't this make it MUCH easier to send the exec's to jail? I bet in one year there will be a movie on this....

A Rocket Scientist takes the binary code for say the Windows driver... and being a Rocket Scientist that can understand binary, reconstructs code, then makes that code run under Linux.... very simple if you are of Rocket Scientist caliber...

My point is that some algorithms are universal... and if no one has a copy right to them yet... SCO might claim that it is theirs and God save the Queen. It is stupid... We know it's stupid, they are stupid... "Stupid is as Stupid does" or something. This could turn into an ALL of Computer Science against SCO... Microsoft might actually have to help defend Linux to protect themselves.. now that would be funny.
His responses sound like he put as much thought and feeling into them as his lousy acting. Anyone else get the feeling that he is in love with himself?

And what are the chances for the gun being EMP protected? Mixing guns and electronics is a really bad idea, regardless if you are for guns or not.
