How you do figure that? 100k is upper middle class, or there about. Most middle classer's cannot afford a car greater than or equal to their income for a year. Even being single and making 80k a year if I bought that thing, assuming I could get that large of financing, it would strain my budget, and that is before taxes and insurance AND living in a low cost of living state.

You could use meters in the same way you use feet/inches, If someone is 6'3 we say it, we dont say they are 6.25 feet. The same can apply to meters, and say 1 meter 8 decimeters, and find a notation to represent it like feet.

Metric is far more human friendly than is imperial. From the time we are babies we learn the decimal system, we dont start relearning to imperial until later in life, and even still after that the vast majority of what we do is on the decimal system

Except your view of it here in the US is incorrect. In the US the left wants more government, to ensure that people are treated fairly. They tend to not introduce these types of laws, the far right does, but the left does not have an issue letting them stay and using them. Here in the US the right wants a bigger government, but only so it can trample on the rights of the citizens for what it considers moral wrong even when the wrong dont affect anyone else.

You are intentionally misrepresenting definitions., No matter where you put food you throw away it is food waste, no matter where you put it into the ground it also becomes fertilizer. If you are in the UK you may be able to get away with verbing a word like that to mean something it does not here in the US. Wasting food in the US means to throw it away rather then to eat it.

When someone says "wasting food" It implies they mean actually wasting the food, as in not eating it all. Not that they are putting it in the incorrect bin, or recycling the food.
