    Ah but in the UK, a similar thing happened with Kodak digital cameras. If I recall correctly, those customers who got confirmation that their order had been taken were legally able to purchase at that price. IANAL though.

    I would assume (and it would have to be an assumption) that encryption would be a necessity on the "fly-by-wire" shuttle control systems. If this were to get into the wrong hands who knows what mischief international terrorists wouuld get up to.

    I am not a US citizen. If they are monitoring everything on the net, how would they know that I am British and not American. If they do build up a profile of foreign populations, does this classify as espionage?

    In my case, Blair sucks up to bush anyway, but what if I was chinese or something?

    I think most likely will be a per MB charge as the 2.5g systems are. Gonna rack up the pounds/dollars/euros/yen mighty quickly at those speeds though! ;)
