Oh I see yes, my bad, you're right that doesn't make any sense I boot mine without a monitor all the time and it works perfectly. I have at least 2 macs that run headless without being OS X server as well.
Sorry have to get the bargain basement stuff in an actual basement I guess. Or Frys maybe that's close to a basement. Or egghead that's an online basement.
No not true, freedom of speech has consequences. Has always had consequences. You are free to say what you will but you must also then accept the backlash or acclaim that goes with what you just said. Anonymous speech is also protected but there are consequences there as well especially when they find out who you are. You are always free to say what you want just be ready to defend yourself after you say it. This alone should make people think twice about what they say and how they say it. Just because it can be said does not mean it should be said.
I'll go with attacking the person, it's simpler and requires less actual thinking. So were you volunteering to be harassed or assaulted, I'll wait for an answer.
Since the dawn of time we have run around stupping anything that held still long enough. But oddly enough we enacted laws against rape and bestiality. How do you feel about fruit?
wrong, if you are a supporter of a referendum then you must sign publicly, else we don't count your signature. If you believe strongly enough to sign the petition you should not care who knows that. It is illegal to harass you and there are remedies for that behavior. We are all responsible for ensuring that our names are not used to support something we don't believe in.
ignorant people having ignorant expectations about what is private.
No we have ignorant people or perhaps I should say people who are not cultured, enough to obey those laws. And people like you who assume that simply because it can be done it should be done. While I agree it will be done that doesn't mean that we can't restore civilization and culture by not doing what you claim is physically impossible.
To simply say "this is private, you can't listen" is silly.
It's also what we like to call "civilized". An expectation of privacy comes from having civilized ourselves enough to NOT listen even though we obviously can. Any one listening to what should be a private call is obviously not civilized. Unless probable cause is present to require a court order to listen. I don't understand why we all seem to have become less civilized lately.
So some idiot gets rich buying stock and we get the startling conclusion that it's not the app store that makes you rich.
Getting rich has always been a combination of sweat, luck and keeping your eyes open for an opportunity. Brilliant reporting, just brilliant.
wasn't trying to prove anything, was trying to get anon cowards to put names on valid criticism. Since no other evidence was available and the only criticisms at the time of my post were anon coward I made a blanket obviously false statement in an attempt to shame the anon cowards into showing faces. You assumed that I was making a false statement for another purpose entirely. At least you put your name on it. Oh and yes I was ignoring all other factors in the conversation. Making well reasoned arguments against anyone that has no face is less that totally satisfying and a waste of time. Much like this thread which should now be dead.
Because cognitive dissonance is far superior to actually facing problems. There are no issue with Mac, OS X or any apple product and anyone who says anything to the contrary is a lair and a drunkard who wears women's panties.
I can't call any of them anything because they are anon cowards. That's what I was complaining about. Your cognitive dissonance seems to be that you assume I was in any way defending Apple I wasn't. I was also questioning the verity of the original article which claimed > 1 months old posts about a product that had only been available less than a month.
Ya know I'm also tired of hearing what you don't do so this doesn't bother you. Go away we don't care that you don't care because obviously you have no interest here just go away. If you were a customer and had an opinion on the quality or the completeness of the offering it would be different but all you do is tell us that you have no use for what ever it is that you are complaining about. And more content = more value to some people yes.
Not that I criticize the effort, but I'd pay less to just have the songs which means I'd be an actual customer. he says right after finishing criticizing the effort and telling us he isn't a customer.
Because you don't have enough money and they don't have to. What part of "it's Apple's party" don't these idiots understand!
I'm tired of Apple and basically everybody getting criticized for not doing something that they have every right not to do. Just because you want it and your attention span is about 3 seconds shorter than a fifty yard dash doesn't mean you get instant gratification! Buck up ask for what you want and stop whining because they price the startup fee out of your ball park.
Well since the only apparent critics are anon cowards I'll just assume that they are all MS fan boys out to get their cockroach bites while the getting is good. I've never used the guest account and I always disable it so this is likely not a problem for me. Also I wonder if the "more than a month old complaints" are actually in the developer forums because the retail version won't pass a month until later this month.
A poke in the eye with a sharp stick is better than windows, what are you saying?
Oh I see yes, my bad, you're right that doesn't make any sense I boot mine without a monitor all the time and it works perfectly. I have at least 2 macs that run headless without being OS X server as well.
I don't think any of those words mean what you think they do. At least they were gibberish to me.
Sorry have to get the bargain basement stuff in an actual basement I guess. Or Frys maybe that's close to a basement. Or egghead that's an online basement.
Freedom of expression is freedom from fear

Yeah sorry that last sentence was pretty hashed.
You sir are not cultured. End of argument.
Cuba has had it for years.
[same anonymous poster as above]
did anyone hear something? I saw something go by but it was not identifiable. Not important I guess.

That means that 2/3 can tell. What's the problem, those 3rd are the ones that still like their little AM radio.

but the possibility of potential growth
Don't step in all that potential.
Whooosh

I'd appreciate this more if you bothered to put your name on it. Ac just doesn't carry much weight.
Yeah what he said! If you aren't a customer, won't be a customer and don't care what it is go away and stop whining to us.
