    I think you hit the nail on the head. FAT is not inherently DRM, so Microsoft will kill it and give ownership of the files on the NEW DRM filesystem to RIAA.

    Maybe that's not a federal law, but I imagine that whatever court ends up finalizing this case comes up with some BS law that gives the government the right to do whatever they want to.

    After having test-driven a segway, the best improvement would be a way to turn left and right that is as natural and intuitive as forward and reverse. Currently you twist a portion of the handle to turn, similar to a motorcycle's throttle control. Perhaps the feet should control turning by placing a rotating pad on the platform?

    I seriously doubt IBM will have to bring it's 16 inchers to bear on the silly rowboat. It'll probably be more like the rowboat trying to ram the Bizmark in the screws and finding out what a terrible decision THAT was.
