  2. Yeah, in reality it's a 4x"10" shift in any sane place. I typically do 5x5 unless I have abunch of stuff to do that I'm in to.

I don't need any bullshit gimmick if I give a fuck about my job but when I'm not heads down working on new shit I make an appearance, leave, come back and check email and then leave again. If it's really slow I "work from home."

    I can see Amazon learning from these dickbrain fiascos and becoming the next ad platform for the world. They are probably waiting for the legislation to hit before going full hog. Amazon could start gently rolling out features that replace Facebook...they wouldn't know what hit them.

    The problem is that traditional flat bit computers are not going away and that they will not be able to decrypt the encryption generated by a quantum computer. Which will be nessessary since the greatest common factor is the most important. In flight data can be encrypted via quantum entanglement, but again, will require a trusted quantum machine to be utilized by a flat bit machine.

    Doubt it. Lockheed has a data center full of quantum computers. They are trying to use them to figure out thier spaghetti code for the F-35.

    My wife keeps lobbying me to carry bear spray since mountain bikers are attacked often enough for there to be youtube videos of the incidents. This story is the proof I have been needing to back her down.
