...it's easy. Just gesture Up, Down, Up... and voila! full reload.
I don't think IE is much better... as i recall, I would go up to the address bar and hit enter if I wanted to do a full reload. Just hitting reload did the same thing as it does in mozilla.
People will pay for what sounds the most comfortable to their ears.
People all have a certain type of music that sounds the best to their ears and is the most comfortable to listen to... likewise, people have a certain type of audio gear that is most comfortable.
For me, I prefer using my analog vacuum tube amp (an Antique Sound Labs MG-SI15DT with Svetlana KT88 power tubes and Electro-Harmonix 12AX7 preamp tubes... if you're interested). It sounds much different than my Sony receiver... anyone can tell there is a difference. However, whether or not it is better is a completely personal matter. To me it is better. Different tubes even will accentuate different parts of the music. Different speakers will produce different ranges differently.
As far as media goes... I'm fine playing back CDs and MP3s... I do have records (some are brand new), and they're fine and good... but to me the main benefit of records is just how enjoyable it is to take it out of the sleeve and gently place it down on the turntable... place the needle on the track you want... and watch it spin.
hook up a vcr or dvd burner or what-have-you to the video-out of your tivo... playback the show you recorded while simultaneously recording with your attached device...
i hope this wasn't too controversial of a hack to share with you... don't report me.
I'm all for it being resolved quickly. I still think SCO's defeat should be quite public.
What kind of message is it to send to other companies if SCO can go around making these claims without providing any evidence, and end up being bought out?
There's only one way to resolve this and that seems to be for SCO to be shamed in court. Otherwise this is only bound to happen again. This is a precedent being set that not only has to do with frivolous claims, but it also has a lot to do with the strength of the GPL because of the situations involved.
Assuming that SCO isn't bought out... and they go to court and lose (as seems likely) and somehow stay in business... how on Earth could they ever repair their reputation now?
They've become notorious lately. So much so, in fact, that I'd bet even if they won a court case and were proven correct, that they still wouldn't be able to recover from pissing the world off. How many people avoid Microsoft because of what they stand for and not just because they believe other software is superior? Uh-huh. See?
I worked at a large local Harkins Theatres multiplex here in the Phoenix area when I was in high school.
I remember on our first day they told us how much of that movie ticket sale goes to the actual theater... it was less than a dollar as I recall. The rest all goes to Hollywood. Basically theaters make their money through the sale of concessions like overpriced popcorn and candy, and overpriced soda pop. Without those sales, the theater goes under for sure. That's why they cost so much and also why you can't bring outside food or drink inside the theater.
I don't understand how a movie ticket COULD be sold that low considering how much of that $6-8 sale is supposed to go to the studios. If the theater itself did eat the cost of the ticket, I can just imagine how expensive even a small popcorn would be then? Or is there something else they're going to get their money from selling other than food?
The Gartner Group was acquired yesterday by Microsoft Corporation.

"misspelled" or does this vary from country to country as well?
silly silly..
Soooo... does this mean Blockbuster has to stop its movie rental pass things?
As I recall, they came out with that after Netflix.
The Earth *would* be a computer if the Golgafrincham's B Ark hadn't messed things up for the mice's plans.
I've only heard one song of theirs: Execution of All Things.
I like it.
I'm confiscating your parentheses...
...at my grade school on our Macs. It was fun.
yay... the best music ever! :D

In addition to being home to some of the best bands ever, they put together some awesome compilations.

Not always: Munich Spurns Steve Ballmer's Software Rebates
I have colleages?
In Nigeria of all places... hmmmm.
I never knew.

I think more publicity in this case would be a good thing.
It might stop other companies from acting as foolish.
I for one (like probably everyone here) hope they don't get bought out.
I hope they get ridiculed and made an example of... let this be a lesson to other companies that it's unacceptable to behave this way.
This is just all so laughable.
ummmmm..... ok. :-p

Seems weird to me.
Well... I'd guess if it's too hot, it might kill them. I suppose if it vibrates, it might collapse all their tunnels and probably kill them.
But... the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long!
How sad...
It should be safe from slashdotting (the actual movie anyway, not sure about the website) since it's a bittorrent.
