hotter, of course. cooling works only insofar as the "heat" is moved somewhere else -- a process that usually generates even more wasted heat. (meet our good friend entropy!).
so yes, i was being facetious.
but now, crack open a bunch of liquid nitrogen containers... now you're cooking!
it gets hot in my home office. i'm rather intrigued by this thing just to use it as a secondary air conditioner. replace the six computers in here with these cases and maybe i can turn the A/C off too!
on the other hand, how loud are these things? i'm eyeing a system to use as a home theater deck (new TVs have RGB hookups. mmm counterstrike on a 65" tv at 1280!) -- but being in the main room, it'd have to be near silent. for that pc i may choose silence over temperature.
Nope, you sure weren't. But you were probably among the many (myself included) with ridiculously high expectations. Granted, I wasn't DEEPLY disappointed, but I got bored with WC3 pretty quickly.
true dat. i was hoping for a game i could play for the next couple years -- a game that had a similar lifespan to starcraft. heck, i'm still playing starcraft, six years later. i think i stopped playing WC3 within six weeks, if not days.
heh.
as far as multiplayer for SC:G, i could envision some co-op sneaky mission type things that could be interesting. or even melee battles where you could play various characters (the models are there, the algos are there, so why not pop the player into the body of a zerg or toss?).
i would argue that deadlines are easier to meet for console projects as (insert standardized hardware/os argument here). although as they are slated to release for all the nextgen consoles, that argument may be blown out of the water.
my main issue is that i don't forsee many LAN parties featuring SC:G. while i'll piece together computers and build a LAN in my home office to play multiplayer PC games, i don't see myself going out and buying four (insert console here) and four TVs (or VGA adapters).
pity.
although if they were going to port it to PC, the Xbox code might be a good place to start. heh.
was i the only one that was deeply disappointed by WC3?
Jessica, an art therapist and professional harpist, has $50,000 in student loans.
how der hell does one rack up 50 grand in debt learning to be an "art therapist" ? wtf is an art therapist anyway?
i swear. these idiots are in the stewpot because they jumped in for a swim.
i remember all kinds of feel-good advice floating around when i was younger -- "make sure you do what you love in your life -- everything will fall in place!" idiot school counselors that are still stuck in the 60s.
yeah, sure. what you want to do has no effect on what other people are willing to pay you to do.
i'm sorry, are you discussing anime in your post, or american hollywood?

or freezing.
whatever.

hmm. decisions, decisions.

heh, BF1942 style action with SC models anyone?
