Or I should say, walking around Wal-Mart looking for/wearing t-shirts with their favorite rockets on them.
Of course, those shirts will have the RFID tags in them tracking them around the store, but that's a different topic all together.
Years from now, it'll be all about the people with beer guts and no shirts on cheering for their favorite rocket driver/sponsor and they'll be wearing t-shirts with the rocket on them.
I agree totally to this idea. My wife and I were having a hard time justifying having our 2 cellphones, then having our landline phone on top of that. Especially when the total cost for our plans on our cellphones were less than what we were being charged for our landline phone alone.
It's nice being able to be pretty much anywhere in the country, yet having one phone number where someone can always get in touch with me. And it's so much easier to screen calls on my cellphone.
that they're not using microsoft sql to hold the database. Lord knows i've seen enough website that come up with an sql error, and one of the web-based programs that my company has created has sql errors all the time.
I wouldn't mind being able to create my own WiFi network without having to purchase the $100 a piece accessories:D,/p>
I do think that it's interesting to see people who usually work with HAM stuff to move into trying, and succeeding apparently, to make WiFi work with stuff that they've put together.
Having worked for Disney, I do know a little bit about this. The reason that they say that they will replace their DVDs is because of the fact that half of the time they are ordered through the Disney catalog, the customer will receive the DVD damaged. Those Disney collectors can be asses too when they have to have EVERYTHING in their collection be in pristine shape.
What I would like to know is how this is going to effect the consumer, because if I remember correctly, any consumer may create a copy of a movie/cd/software that they own and use that "backup" copy in order to preserve the orginal copy of the media. I remember the arguement that the MPAA had when VCRs initially came out, as well as the arguements about audio casettes as well. I don't see how making a copy of your DVDs, for your own personal use, is any different.
I can understand that they are fighting this because you can send out bootleg copies of movies on the internet, but you have to wonder, if the internet wasn't as prevelant in the USA as it is, would we even be hearing about this?
Mr. Shatner,
What kind of pitch did the creators of Iron Chef USA use when they were trying to bring you on as the Chairman? Did you watch any of the Japanese episodes and use Chairman Kaga's actions/mannerisms as a point from which to create your own version of the Chairman, or was it predetermined by the show's creators? What are your takes on the Iron Chef phenomenon as it has become in the United States, and are there any plans on taping additional episodes?
Thank you for your time.
The main reasons I've stuck with Windows (currently running XP Pro at home and in the office) is because of the games. While I'm at work, all of the programs that I do support for are windows-based, so it's a forced thing here in the office. I do have an old box that I run linux on that I use as my router/firewall at home. I think that my wife would probably get lost trying to use Linux, and that wouldn't be a good thing for me;P
Ok, for some reason, this just doesn't sit right with me. Just because Bill Wyman(the musician) WAS part of the Rolling Stones, does he think that he can be the only one using that name? I think that guy spent too much time around Keith Richards and all the drugs that he's used over the years. I could understand it if the writer had changed his name to Bill Wyman, but it was the other f-ing way around, and 3 years after the writer was born! If nothing else, Bill Wyman(the writer) could sue Bill Wyman(the musician) for using HIS name.
I don't know many people that will go around suing someone because they have the same name. All of the John Smiths in the world are gonna be f-ing screwed if this starts happening more. I can see it now..
John Smith #1: You've stolen my name! Speak to my lawyer!
John Smith #2: No, you've got my name! speak to my lawyer!
what was the source that was quoted on this information? I've been looking around the various newssources online and as of yet, there's nothing regarding it. Might want to verify the information from another source before you post.
It's only ok to spy on your babysitter if she's cute;P

That's exactly how things get done in Washington. if you want something to get passed, you've got to concede a whole bunch of crap, like having a bridge named after a congressman or something stupid like that.
that's not entirely true about SP1, because there is a work around it. IIRC, Microsoft just found out what the key was for the pirated versions that were already out. Of course, when SP1 was released, there was an nfo file out that explained how to get around the block on the pirated S/N
did you happen to know that Pilot Candidate was only 13 episodes in the first place? It was cut off in Japan before it ever got to the end of the storyline. I've heard that plans are in motion to continue it in the future, but nothing is in stone.
Just wanted to let you know so you don't keep ripping on CN for nothing they had control over.
