  1. Re:Maybe I'm just uninformed. on Tablet PCs Enter Reality · · Score: 1

I have an older Fujitsu B-Series sub notebook with a touch screen, wireless LAN card and WindowsXP installed. While its not XP Tablet Edition-compatible, its an awesome machine for sitting on the couch playing games, surfing, checking email, etc. Its pretty much become property of my girlfriend and she absolutely loves the small form-factor and pen interface.
When this one wears out, I'm certain that she's going to be lobbying mighy hard for a Tablet. I look forward to that....

You mean that people are reading the article before posting comments? That can't be it. Must be sucky servers. Good call.

Get one of each and you are still spending less than getting a new hotrod gaming PC. Then you will be able to go into the games store and spend bags of cash on the games!

Actually, you can get laptops that are upgradable. Check out Eurocom. Reasonable prices, and they look pretty cool to IMHO.

After reading the IVL Web site a little more it looks like their technology is used in 70% of Japanese professional karaoke products sold in Japan.

Not too shabby. Check out the online demos. Bizarre.

  8. IVL Technologies does this too... on Pitch Perfect Karaoke · · Score: 3, Informative

There has been many products like this over the past several years. One of the ones that I have had the opportunity to use was the Korg iH. It is based on the technology developed by IVL (a company from my home town of Victoria, BC, Canada. WOO!)

Anyway, way back when I was working at a music store in Victoria we got a few of these in. They never really sold very well, but were pretty amazing if you knew how to use them. Found a review of the iH on Google.

IVL does some very neat stuff. Check out their Web site.
