I'm a fan of Carl Sagan, but I do find it kind of amusing that he would easily reject one idea that there is no evidence for (God), but so willingly embrace another idea for which there is no evidence (intelligent extraterrestrial life).

There is evidence of (intelligent extraterrestrial life), its us. If it worked here on earth why not somewhere else. God, no evidence at all.

Like ESR, I indicated to them that Microsoft was a company that I could never consider working for, under any circumstances whatsoever. And if you responded in the same manner that would make you an asshole too. This isn't politics, human rights, or religion (well ...) that we are discussing, its just software. I hope that your children aren't starving because of your ideals.

I you need to use a keyboard that is in an area in which hazardous stuff is in use, i.e. chemicals, tissue, germs, or if you are just worried about germs, wear disposable latex gloves. http://www.walgreens.com/search/search_results.jht ml?term=latex+gloves&section=A Cheep, easy and safe. If the keyboard is dirty, chuck it and buy a new one. Just an observation from someone who worked in a place that if you used the wrong keyboard without gloves, you risked getting cancer or worse.
