    Minimum wage in the US was under $4/hour in 1990. I must have missed the rivers of raw sewage flowing down the streets. In 1974, minimum wage was $2/hour. In 1956, it was $1 an hour.

    Good question. Nowadays, there isn't a tv show in prime time that doesn't imply (if not show, obscured by blanket) a man eating pussy. And to think that in 1990, Uncle Buck (the tv show) was controversial for the line "Miles, you suck!". And now with Glee showing man-on-man kissing, it's only a matter of time until anilingus, shrimping, playing the rusty trombone, etc are a staple of the Thursday night boob tube schedule. [Side note - Oz showed surprise butt-sex in the late 90s, but that was on HBO which is a few years ahead of the curve].

    Google charges money (and has other requirements) for access to google's apps or the marketplace.

    It's very rare, but in California, the court can issue a "declaration of factual innocence", which is to say there was no reasonable cause for the person to have been arrested or put on trial.

    Not exactly. If Apple wrote a twitter client app, third party applications can't use it. If Apple released a twitter library/toolkit as part of the OS, third party applications can use it.

    They just released their third quarter numbers yeaterday: almost 100,000 xoom tablets and almost 5 million android smart phones. With numbers like those, it's no wonder Apple had such a lousy quarter. Get used to it Cupertino!
