    that's just utterly ridiculous. Outside of slashdot, people don't root their phones and install a custom build of android. They don't (ie, can't) update it either. And in 1-2 years, they'll toss it and get another one. And one day, their next phone will run ChromeOS instead of Android. They'll play angry birds and dick around with wallpaper and ringtones and never give a shit that it is or isn't android.

    node-to-node traffic is encrypted, usually on port 9001. At the exit node, it's decrypted and sent to the final destination as standard traffic. Standard trafic with the exit node's IP address, that is.

    Start posting goatse and tub girl links on slashdot and see how long it takes for your ip address to get blocked. Bonus points if you can crapflood to the point you get some pink. Then try sending some spam. I'm sure you can imagine how an exit node IP address gets put on a block list.

    Tor does let exit nodes specify which ports are allowed.

    Most of the car fires I've been in were due to smoking or electrical. I suspect most tesla owners don't cook up freebase in their car (and if they did, leather seats are safer than cloth).
