I go into the Best Buy and look at those new CD's and I look over them and look over them and I can't tell if it's one of those copy protected CD's. To heck with it, I am not going to buy a CD I can't play on my computer and I can't tell if it's copy protected or not so I'm not buying any CD's now. Copy protect this.
Don't worry too much. History would show that there is always a overreaction to war and attacks. Freedoms taken and freely given away in the heat of the moment are wrestled back in the fullness of time. Of course this only happens until good people stand up and express their disagreement. When we are afraid we want to be safe, when we are again safe we want to be free. So don't worry too much, but do stand up and express your opinion.
You cannot go and shove the genie back in the bottle in America. Once you give something to Americans they consider it their god given and constitutionally protected right. I have my bandwidth now and I'll be darned if I'll give some of it back and I'll be darned if I'll pay substantially more for it.
Thank goodness this horrible problem will finally be dealt with. I'm tired of going to the movie theater and having to sit behind that guy with the little camcorder silently taping a bad copy of an equally bad movie. I always move to sit near those people who talk incessantly through the movie cause you know, that's what I pay $8.50 for.
And besides, everyone knows that you wait for the DVD rips to come out on Kazaa and not to bother with the camcorder copies. Geez.
No no no. I will not pay $25 dollars for a CD. Maybe I'll pay that much for a good DVD that I really want but not that much for a CD. At $12.99 to $16.99 they are really pushing it now. For that amount of money I do want my liner notes, perhaps some lyrics and any other bonus that will give me the warm fuzzies about the artist and label. Oh yes, and already at those prices I buy fewer CD's than I've ever bought.
That's wonderful. I'm looking for them right now. Same file names or one big one? :-)
I did read that story the other day and it made me mad enough to link to it myself. Welcome to Amerika.

Heck no. I firmly believe Al Gore gave us the internet. If you don't believe me then you should ask him yourself. :-)
