No, but then I don't think "Aunt Mildred" is going to be bothered about getting passwords for pr0n sites either, which is your motivation here.
Besides that I'm making a point - the user is the weakest link, regardless of what's in the message. If all that was attached was a windows batch file with "DEL *.*" in it, people would STILL click it, and others would STILL consider it a "virus".
I hear this "only windows users" think so much, I think I might write some OSX and maybe Linux malware and email it to the MyDoom authors to include in their next release.
"OSX users be sure to click the Mac attachment. Don't worry, there are no viruses for OSX so it's perfectly safe to click it. Linux users - you need to type a special command due to the super secret nature of the passwords and the fact the companies don't want us sending them to you - unzip the file then type "make"..."
Everyone knows Mac users would burst into flame if they used software that looked like one of those common computers. They would much rather pay Microsoft hundreds of dollars for something that looks prettier.
That's not true at all - just to put this into perspective, I come from a Mac hating background. (OS9 is, and always has been a piece of crap in my opinion.)
Panther sold me on the Mac, and I'm not a zealot. I'm a multi vendor admin and so have to be adept in various OSs including BSD / Linux / Windows / OSX / Solaris / Irix. Windows very much has it's place like every OS; it's all about the best tool for the job.
Incidentally, I didn't say that "Monkey Boy" was why I switched to Mac, only that it really put me off Microsoft (which it did). The main reason I switched to Mac was because I was upgrading my recording studio and decided it was the best platform for the job (for me).
Well there are some games, but the simple solution is keep your PC.
Also remember that the more people with Macs, the bigger incentive to produce games for the platform. If the Mac had even 50% market share we would see a lot of games. Go buy one then worry about games later.
This really isn't a troll, it's an honest statement when I sat that it was the "Monkey Boy" video that really put me off Microsoft. I remember thinking "this idiot is in charge of what happens to our Windows PC's?".
It was shortly after that I decided to switch to Macintosh for my primary platform. Obviously I still have a PC but I only use that for games now.
How about people mod the parent however they bloody well like?
Here again we see the creationist nutters telling the rest of us how to think. How about you back off and let people make up their own mind, nazi.
While you are at it learn about punctuation and grammar - such as starting a sentence with a capital letter and ending it with a full stop. People would be forgiven for thinking you are an under-educated religious nutcase; but then you evidently are.
Nobody except judiciary has the right to go after me when I've done wrong. ... I'd prefer the army... respecting the law themselves.
Hmm - didn't do the maths on this one did we? They are the US Army, and as you infer, they do not respect the law. I beleive it's been more than adequately demonstrated over the last few years that they are well and truly Above The Law.
Irrelevant - if I may remind you of your statement:
"Notes for MS Bigots: The Atari ST shipped with a two-button mouse years before PCs even had mice."
You are clearly inferring that there were no mice for PC's. There were, and not "years after" the ST. I was there "in the day" and I agree, hardly anyone used a mouse on a PC, however you could go and buy one to use if you wanted, which is completely different to them not being available.
Notes for MS Bigots: The Atari ST shipped with a two-button mouse years before PCs even had mice.
Note for inaccurate posters - it was actually ten months, the ST being released in January '85, Windows 1.0 being released in November '85. And that was just Windows. There were mice in use on PC's before that.
I know your type, and my Amiga kicks the arse of your ST.:oP
I was thinking the same thing - reminds me of Apple RAM pricing. Obviously the thing to do is buy it without the CF if possible and get the CF cheap elsewhere.
I've recently been looking at small / quiet form factor boards from places like Mini-ITX - I'm embedding an X terminal into my glass topped dining room table.
I've had it with desktops; time for the X table top.
Checking the Alexa rankings over the past few months, Google Groups have gone from about 7% of all Google users down to 1% as of a few moments ago. Granted, Alexa is not the most accurate measurement of a site, but it does give some indications as to overall popularity.
This could simply mean that people are becoming more aware about spyware and are removing alexa, or switching to Firefox or even a different OS.
The phrase "remote shell" is colloquially taken to mean a remote CLI. Sure you can bend the definition to fit any form of remote access you want, but you will never hear anyone say "I have a remote shell using VNC / RDP / ICA. They will generally use the phrase Remote Desktop or perhaps even Remote Console.
Windows is generally NOT accessed by people using SSH or Telnet. Period. Yes, I know about the Windows 2000 telnet service (that nobody uses). Yes I know about Cygwin. THE AVERAGE USER DOES NOT ACCESS A WINDOWS SYSTEM IN THIS WAY WHICH WAS MY POINT.

Are you sure they didn't mis-spell China?
Silly! It's not pretty enough!

Oracle makes the most twatty database software I've ever seen. Of that I can be certain.
Think of the lost lawsuit revenue.

Ok so we replace the stickers with ones that say
Remember - creationism is only a theory and not a fact. No deity has ever been proven to exist.
And lets see how long those last.
Oh we can but dream. Imagine the scene...

If you think that was bad, check this out - the first mouse.(!)

FINALLY I have an excuse to get rid of the aging NT4 desktops that we have.
Now... Windows 2000 (I think XP is a bit optimistic for the spec involved) or a Linux trial...
Of course they sleep less - they keep getting up to raid the fridge!

Remember it's only in beta right now. The coders probably have not had time to fill it full of bugs and security holes yet. Wait for the full release.
