Im using windows 2000 RC3 and it works fine.. well.. it works.. well.. it runs.. actually it "loads" and 14% of the time shows something.. Anyways I cant get java to work, and its slower than death... Stan "Myconid" Brinkerhoff
Odd, I downloaded the latest nightly build two days ago [Nov 14th], and except java, it works almost flawlessly out of the box for browsing.. The other features are lackluster.. but the browser is great.. Anyone wana email me on how to install Java on Win32? I have the Sun SDK 1.3 beta installed and configured.. yet no Java..:P
What is wrong with the HTML? They close all their tags, they don't use style sheets (gotta make sure inferiour browsers like Netscape Navigator can display it).
SiteInspector detects no errors in HTML that make it not complient with either Netscape Navigator, or Internet Explorer. The only funky part is this:
and this:
heh.. frontpage-ish.. still.. its not perfect.. but its nothing to bitch about.
I don't see why there would be.. This is a commercial product with the aim to make some money. I can't see even recooping the extra development costs by selling a copy for an OS with a tiny userbase. Also wasn't there something funky about Quake being released for Beos, but you had to buy the $5,000 OpenGl development kit license to use it or something?
I think this will be a sweet game, and I would like to see it on multiple platforms, but I highly doubt they will port to Be. Stan "Myconid" Brinkerhoff
Yeah! Segregation and descrimination! Next lets sue Disney and every other theme park because they make you be a certain height to go on rides! Stan "Myconid" Brinkerhoff
They still recieved a large chunk of the Quake II source from ID.. Read the Valve interviews. Stan "Myconid" Brinkerhoff

Odd, it works really nice on my P2-350, 128mb, EIDE Quatrum Bigfoot [uhhg], ATI Rage Pro [uhhg].. 20 fps at 640x480 and 120 pings over 56k.. Its not spectacular.. but for an ATI rape?
And what if I only run one of the programs that there is a security fix for? I have to download the entire group of updates, which would be rather large in comparison just because I don't use the remaining 20 applications? Stan "Myconid" Brinkerhoff
yeah until AIM gets file xfer and chatting. all it is is instant email. whats the point? AOL would be better off just opening their ports and using ICQ.
Actually... Aol Instant Messanger 2.5.1366 [and a lot before] all support File Transfers, and Group Chatting... just not with AOLers... Just AIM users.
Does anyone have any recomendations on a good looking full tower, or server case [tall, 7 5 1/4 inch, 2+ 3 1/2 inch] 300 watt power supply etc? Stan "Myconid" Brinkerhoff
The IBM Aptiva's Radioshack used to display eons ago used to have some sort of desktop enhancement package as where the Windows 95 desktop's icons could have an "animated" icon when the mouse moved over them. Stan "Myconid" Brinkerhoff
This is what many people do when they crack boxes... Fix the holes they came in through.. Although many do malicious things... many fix them:-) Stan "Myconid" Brinkerhoff
If you had a sign on your bike: "Remove the lock and the bike is yours", then you could compare the two. This is an offer that allows you legally to crack, hack, scriptkiddie your way into the box, and if you do, its yours, legally. A huge difference. Stan "Myconid" Brinkerhoff

Stan "Myconid" Brinkerhoff

They've also been more than willing to pull the accounts of students whose machines are used to attack other machines.
I don't see the problem with that, am I missing something?
