    If the mpaa wants to be a horse and buggy maker in a car world instead of offering what people want in a digital world with steep discount to reflect the internet ease of reaching people and the almost no distribution costs then they should continue to have to chase these "infringers" themselves. It is not a government problem.

    it was a legal disk. I played it in a legal bluray player. It did not work. I never bought another one.

    "the cloud" is just dumb terminals all over again. After businesses make a bunch of money on the cloud they will then start selling local solutions again to try and mitigate problems with being on the cloud.

    the riaa and mpaa refuse to adapt their business model to the current environment. Anytime they want they could adopt a model like Valve's Steam Gaming Service. People behaving as irrationally as the mpaa and riaa is actually a good tactic.

    If Fargo is successful in raising the money I think this really points to the fact the publishers may not know what they are doing as well as they think they do. A huge market they are not servicing and appear to have no visibility to? Not good business.
