is a financial death sentence really a reasonable punishment? This is worse than many violent criminals get and he will likely live off the grid now and not pay any taxes so the US Gov also loses.
republicans are not financially responsible. They would just rather blow money giving rich companies corporate welfare and more money to the bloated military.
I am actually encouraged by this. The more the marketing drones freak out that people are bypassing them and their flawed understanding of their markets (and greed) the better.
a large part of the problem is not what they are taxed on for profit, it is what they are allowed to write off that makes absolutely no sense unless you are a rich upper level executive (ex airplanes)
if these scanners were really about safety then pass a bill that the makers of them cannot make a profit and no executive in the company can make more than $150k per year (total compensation).
the naked scanners have always been about making rapiscan, the company that makes them, a lot of money. Actual security does not appear to be a goal of the tsa.
when you can skip the big company markeing drones that have been getting things wrong and don't really know their market you care going to see a lot of talk that their is a Kickstarter Bubble. Even if projects fail, I would rather have the opportunity for passionate people to make something great than more of the same sad crap the big companies will continue to push. And as a bonus, successful games started with Kickstarter will influence the direction of gaming as a whole.
with raid 5 you lose a percentage of the disks you use (like ~25% if you use 4 disks). Maybe I am missing something, but Greyhole looks like you lose significantly more than that making multiple copies of files on different disks?
if you are not on special report 301 you need to figure out how to get on it. Make sure your citizens are protected from music and movie companies pressuring the US government to prop up their dying business model they refuse to change.
Games are still a huge pull on the PC (and a lot of people are sick of the vendor lock-in crap forced on them with consoles). Valve announced that they will be supporting Linux with their Steam Game Service.
giving huge corporations tax holidays and then raising tax rates on working families in Texas does not help the local economy. Buying stuff helps the economy a lot more than that and people have something to show for it.
where are the laws to stop that?

is complete.
think of what she would have done to California if she had been elected. They dodged a bullet with that one.
there is always due process. And it is better.
you are completely discounting due process. Who decides who gets killed? That is why you cannot just randomly kill the "bad" people like they do.
is that because right wingers only have rhetorical discussions?
if you act the same as your enemies you are no better than they are.
contrast that with the sony security breach. This speaks volumes to me who I would rather spend my money with.

when is the last time the UK military actually defended the UK. It is not defense, it is the UK military and people should start calling it that.
The pirate version is better, but they will claim people want it only because it is free.

If governments don't get their cut I could see laws being passed with a 1000% tariff on these organizations.

I agree. It is a badge of honor to be on special report 301.

they only thought the deficit was a huge problem when the US was spending to help regular people instead of padding war profiteer pockets.
each woman will be given a chunk of blue glass to throw off the back when at sea.
