And if she had taken the bate they would have all they needed to take the domain. This has happened before. Someone comes and asks the owner for the domain then the owner suggests a price and then the domain is taken away from the owner by the "arbitration process".
Being a long time Delphi, Builder and more recently, a.NET developer, I can tell you that just because there are components and events doesn't make it a magic bullet. I've seen the horror of an entire applications business logic residing in event handlers as well as very procedural code using components. Also, the only browser abstraction microsoft believes in is Internet Explorer or Internet Exploder, take your pick.
ASP.NET makes it easy for you to do whatever Microsoft thought you should be doing with it, otherwise it is very hard to shoe horn ASP into doing what you want. Then there is the problem of taking your code and running it on something other than IIS. Given MS security record, it is nice to be able to run your apps on something secure.
I'm not a PHP developer so I don't know if PHP is better but it is hard to believe that anything is worse.
I'm thinking this guy and the "author" of the parent are the same person. Post AC and then with an account, post a supporting argument. Cute. Now if there were some way to make money at it... Hmmm.
This has already been done. The html renderer is available as a dropin replacement for MSHTML. Infact it is possible to make Outlook use gecko instead of MSHTML which I think is pretty funny.
Thomas Covenant was the worst. I hated the character but I couldn't stop reading the books. I kept buying these books centered around a character that I loathed. I was so glad when he died. I could finally stop reading those books. Everytime you thought Thomas could go no lower, he would find a way. I felt like a spouse being beaten and always winding up going back for more. I am starting to feel sad for myself again. Gotta stop. Maybe read some more Thomas Covenant to take my mind off of it.
My personal contacts failed me but Monster and Dice are working quite well. I have a couple of companies I am interviewing with now that came from Dice and Monster. They're contracts but when your layed off, a job is a job.
Using Open Office 1.1 on a debian variant(mepis). Athlon-XP 2600, 512MB RAM. First launch took 10 seconds, subsequent launches took 3 seconds or less. This compares well with MS Office.
So your saying that to find out about Judaism you hang out at Natzi sites. To find out about Christianity you depend on the Moslems. You go to the SCO website to find out about Linux. No wonder your ideas are so squeued. Maybe you should go to the source and ask a Mormon instead of depending on hearsay.
As to the court not being objective. They are far more objective than Slashdot. After all everything submitted is under oath.
If you come to Slashdot for the truth on SCO, that is truly stupid. You want to get the truth on SCO you go to the source, which is the court system. Unfortunately, where religion is involved there are no objective third parties. Posting a link to a misleading ant-mormon site is not going to win any arguments.
You've obviously haven't visited those sites that won't let the browser close. You actually have to kill the process and what granny is going to figure that out.
I wonder what world this guy is living in. Certainly not mine. My history books are much different this. I wonder if this guy is from the cyberdine future.

Where do these morons keep coming from. It's like Microsoft is going out and hiring teenyboppers to troll Slashdot. Only an MCSE would actually think that those certificates mean anything.
Darl finds himself in an unwinnable situation and decides, "I'm going to fix the game just like my hero Capt. James T. Kirk". Unfortunately none of his actions have turned out heroic...

Gnome is my prefered desktop and I like the changes made.
But Gentoo does it better! :)

Ya, what he said. He beat me to it. What I get for leaving my computer for a quicky.

I just bought my very own black hood and am itching to use it.
You could do this in Visual SlickEdit since forever. Lets see how many instances of prior art we can find.
I use Visual SlickEdit combined with wxGlade. Works very well. If your doing GUI development in Python, you want to be using wxPython.
Antacid = Buffer. Acid + Base = Much heat and salt.

Might encourage people to think about security if they suddenly get a $50K bill, wouldn't you think? Might improve things a bit for the rest of us.

Since when did the French fight the Nazi's by killing random people in restaurants? Many of the victims were muslem.
