Still, the M.A.D. doctrine rests upon the idea that the people in charge of nuclear nations will act in a rational and sane way. The probability for this to fail increases with every new nuclear nation. The way to go is incredibely hard : to encourage nations to abandon their nuclear programs, like Libya did.

And I really think that China relies on North Korea to the fear-mongering it can't afford to.

Anyway, the number of representative presents do not really matter, the majority party is backing up (kind of timidly but still backing up) this dumb project. Most people think that it will never be used and yes, this is a scary way of functioning. I am really afraid of the path my country takes. The HADOPI law is one of the less scary aspects, what happens to justice, press freedom and the banking institutions make me wonder if we will really have a chance to vote this guy out.

Good point. We should be looking for a common cause, something that causes BOTH autism AND vinyl flooring.

Like a specific character in parents ? That both makes them like the easy-to-clean vinyl flooring and autism in their kids ?

Or possibly that autism causes pre-emtive vinyl flooring

Heh, don't dismiss that so easily. There could have been a popular book about autist kids raising that would suggest that carpets floor are bad for them, that vinyl is better, and urge parents to provide such an environment. Okay, that is a bit improbable, but don't forget to consider these things, possibilities exist.

First, some exploits are made through reverse engineering of MS patches and then targets unpatched machines. This procedure has even been automatized, meaning that a virus could be created in the very first minutes a patch is rolled out of Redmond.

Second, the general ethics about flaws disclosure is to inform the manufacturer first, but to keep in mind that even if you are a talented security researcher, there are numerous malicious talented security researcher and that if the manufacturer doesn't react, there is a moral duty to inform users that some software in some configuration might be at risk. If you are a small guy with little reputation, you have to release details in order to be taken seriously.
