Nice FUD. You can copy any song (or video) you've purchased from the iTunes Store as many times as you like, as well as burn any audio tracks purchased to an audio CD. You may also play any purchased music on any iPod you like; should you purchase a new iPod, simply sync your library to it and you're good to go -- no limitations such as the ones you're describing.
So let me get this straight: now the RIAA et. al. think they have a right to Apple's iPod "revenue stream"? What a bunch of fucking vultures. If they want a piece of the hardware revenue stream, I suggest they get off their fat, lazy asses and, you know, develop some hardware.
I've spent a long time defending the RIAA's right to protect their content, etc., but it's this sort of bullshit that really makes me wonder if that time and effort hasn't been misspent. I'll tell you, these guys are the very definition of chutzpah.
And I would not have paid for MLB broadcasts had they stuck with Real; I only re-subscribed when I saw they were using WMP. Now don't get me wrong, I'd much rather they use QuickTime, but anything is better than Real. I pretty much quit watching games about halfway through last season when I finally got completely sick of RealOne's appalingly bad performance.
How did you get a Radeon AIW to work on the Mac? According to ATI's support pages, it's PC-only. I've got one, and I'd love to know how to get it to work in my Mac.
My son has cystic fibrosis, a life-shortening genetic disease. The folding@home project is helping to find a cure for (among other illnesses) CF; this is obviously something that is near-and-dear to me, and I personally thank from the bottom of my heart anyone who contributes to CF research, be it by donating spare computer cycles to fund raising to whatever.

You do realize, don't you, that Mark Hurd spent 30+ years with NCR before coming to HP. Hardly the resume of a "corporate raider," now is it?

It's ashame she wasn't Scottish, since Haggis is a Scottish dish.

Because I'm asking you to. Seriously.

Just my two cents.
