Well, I must say; this is great stuff!
Congrats to the whole team on finishing this project. I've been listening to it from work for the past hour and it's passing the time nicely as I bang out code.
Thanks for the hard work!
My wife went to WVU, and the PRT was used by many students there. She was there for 4 years and said there was rarely a problem with it considering its age.
I've only been on the PRT once myself, but if large cities had a similar mode of transportation to get around to/from key locations I'd be happy to park my car and use it to get around the city faster.
When I was in school doing research you were illl advised to trust a single source for information. I made the habit of always doing my best to doublecheck my finding through articles with a second source, third source, etc. until I was convinced that what I was citing is probably true based on the information available to me.
If I were an educator, I would have let students and peers know that using an organic resource such as the Wikipedia has its limits... but I would not tell them that they should ignore it. I would simply point out that you should not based your knowledge from a single source of information.
Likewise with myself - we are not "allowed" to use any other applications than those that are deemed as safe to use at work. If I even try to install FF, the next time I reboot FF is 'magically' removed and IE is the default again. Same goes for Opera.
I personally find it humorous to watch the IT gang here scurrying to patch machines due to new IE security threats when they could just approve FF to use at work.
What might be more interesting for stats is to get the same numbers split into work-hours and and after-hours.
Just a thought - you could install one of those invisible fences used to keep your dog/cat in your yard (a collar on the pet detects the underground "fence"). If you used the collar on the mower, it could be trained to turn back when it reaches the fence edge, or even turn itself off when it crosses the fence.
Just a thought... it works well on my brother-in-law's dogs.
Agreed: Adam is one of the funniest game reviewers I have ever seen on TV; but without dumbing down the quality of the reviews he provides. I really hope he makes the leap to G4TechTV.
Funny thing is... there used to be fewer people that knew about said security issues until they decided to thank him with a C&D. I'm betting more people will begin to look into this now, and perhaps exploit it, due to their wise decision.
Even though this is not to be a popular amungst the/. crowd, it does interest me. I found out that caffeine is bad for me through my doc last fall, causing strange heart palpitations.
Even decaf. coffee is too much caffeine for me is seems because decaf is not actually caffeine-free, only has the majority of it removed.
So, for someone like me that's just dying for a good cup of coffee (the smell at work all day just kills me!), but can't have ceffeine in the mix... this is going to be just what the doctor ordered!
Actually, I has the pleasure of meeting Stevie in the fall of 2002 at a gaming event in Minneapolis. She was hanging out with the gang of the now defunct Stomped.com for the grand opening of their LAN Center (www.thestompinggrounds.com) in Minneapolis, and when I did get to speak to her over the course of the weekend I was surprised that she *is* just your regular American girl. She definitly was not as you indirectly described her, she appeared to be a shy and silly natured regular person.
What *is* sad is when people judge other people from a few pictures that they may or may not have seen of another person that's ever been in the public eye. I have a good hunch that if you ever got to meet her, and chat with her for more than a few minutes, that she's just a regular person, probably no different than most girls you know - she just happens to be beautiful, and she just happened to have been in Playboy... big whoop.

I have a question then; if I did not buy the "Silver" edition... can I still download HL1-Source through Steam? If I can, is there an extra cost?
