This is what is annoying about people controlling TLDs. What if "figurativly" some communist leader controls the.org tld? all the old.orgs are deleted and then only people supporting communism are allowed.org domains? grrr.

I was doing a report on hacking, and i went to neworder (if you know what it is, great, otherwise, you'll understand when you're older) for some useful information, but it said "denied due to reason: Criminal Skills" and i was like Duh, i'm doing a report on criminal skills wtf do they expect? So then i included in the report the way to get around it, and got in further trobule, needless to say. It shows how messed up the UEN is.
MS would never let you mod the X-box. They want to mod it. Remember the 500 dollar ultimate TV set? 300 bucks says that all they do is add a 50 dollar tv tuner card, and then port their software to the xbox's form of WinCE, or stinger or whatever they feel like using.
Home brew developers are such a threat to MS as well, ever notice how much they make off of their games? WOW, thats a lot.
So, 1st comes Kazaa, and apparently the Gnutella network (ie Morpheus is nothing more than Gnucleus). Next, IRC, then the ISPs of people hosting illegal files. Then, they'll start sending millions of illegal letters through the postal system so that people sending pirated CDs through the mail cant do it as easily, then they'll fix up the CDs so that you cant listen to them. I see a problem developing here, what about you?

can i emphasize CROSS PLATFORM and HARDWARE INDEPENDANT. It ports to DX and (nvidia's) open GL. I really wouldn't worry about its cross compatibilty. All (relevant) cards have drivers for Open GL and Direct X.

warcraft III does look to be a great game. Testing the beta, i did like the mutliplayer part. I think the balance of the single player and multi player is one of the most important factors in game purchase. Take a look at max payne. Look how many people bitched when they released it minus multiplayer. if people would have taken a second look, it was in the development's best interests. When a game like WCIII can be so balanced, its great.
Now about blizzard and the DMCA. I happened to write a paper about the DMCA (and blizzard's case). Does anyone remember Warcraft 2? KALI!!! HELLO!!!! blizzard needs to pull their head out as well. They can't do somthing and then say how fundimentally wrong it is 3 years later. I as a person, will not support with my dollars any product of blizzard. I might play the demos, or play my friends copies, but i will not support it. Your dollar is your vote. Remember that.
