  1. Just a new Prohibition..... on RIAA to Sue You Now · · Score: 1

Get ready for the Cyber IP cops to bust up the P2P "Speakeasys" for a while. Everyone just sits back and takes a swig of the digital bottle from time to time.

  3. Re:Totalitarians begin small on FTC Tells Search Engines to Disclose Paid Links · · Score: 1

The problem is not "paid ranking" its the "illusion of unbiased search". If you want to run a search engine that only ranks based on the payola to your pocket. More power to you. Users just need to have that disclosed.

  5. RIAA just needs to send the millions of ISP letter on Legalizing Attacks on P2P Networks · · Score: 1

The mechanism allready exists for the **AAs to "shutdown" users of P2P for sharing of copyrighted material. They just need the balls to do it and take the PR consequences. But like most corporations they prefer to work in the shadows to not upset the "public image".

  8. Re:Coming next on Wrangling Over Proposed Privacy Laws Continues · · Score: 0

We are very easy to understand. We are a nation of hucksters and only worship the dollar... All decisions flow from this principle.

  9. Re:I am stunned on More on Kazaa and Brilliant Digital Spyware · · Score: 0

Because we are no longer "human beings", we are "consumers". Didn't you listen to your President after the 9/11 attack. "Don't let this effect your life. Spend what you planned to spend. Do what you planned".....
