I am going to settle this once and for all, fuck face. First of all, you are really irritating the piss out of me. Secondly, I am protecting no one from terrorism. This reminds me also of my step-father's auto shop. He owns some wreckers (tow trucks) that are driven all over the place by his employees. He wanted to make sure that they were going where they were supposed to and not wasting gas on personal things when they were off duty. He installed the gps system to do just that. This is the same thing the rental car companies are doing. How is it wrong?

We could use existing technologies like OpenSSL and create a gnutella based client/server system. Usernames, passwords, all data transmissions are totally encrypted. After owning many computers, televisions, stereos and whatnot over the years, I have not had one of them ever die on me (except this TV that was struck by lightning). I could not understand how you can loose so many electronics in such a short time. Most of my TVs, I had for well over 5 years before selling and buying a new one. I had one television, given to me by my father, that was over 20 years old. Still in fine working condition in the garage. One of the other guys mentioned that you might consider checking your electrical work in your house. Sounds like a good idea to me. About the electronics crack on you, I was j/k. I have experienced the same problem where I work at my school. Many of our users can dial-up, but they cannot access web sites or ping anything. I have not been able to fix this except with Windows ME or XP, both of which have the System Restore function. I thought that it could be spyware and I warned others in my staff about it. They told me basically that I was full of crap and that there was no way spyware could damage someone's network settings. I always thought that spyware on a windoze box had the power to do whatever it felt like. Maybe now that they see this on/., they might take me seriously or no, I am probably still full of crap.
