    The NRA is a group of people, a large group composed of several million people. Considering they are almost all gun enthusiasts you can figure that most of them own several guns and buy guns on a routine basis. I'd think that the gun manufacturers actually defer to the NRA. It's that large membership that almost all vote that gives the NRA it's power. In the South here to offend the NRA is often to fail re-election, even mamy Democratic politicians here are members.

    I think he's talking about all those windows peecee's slaved into botnets because of their defective by design OS and are used in DDos attacks such as this. It all starts with malware ya know and Windows is the most pervasive form of malware on the planet.

    I don't know a single person that likes windows. Not one. None. They all hate it but it never occurs to them there is something else. Everyone bitches and many say I wish I could afford a Mac. I'd bet at least half of the computer users I know whine and wish they could afford a Mac and many of them have switched to Macs over the last 7 or 8 years here. Linux isn't even known. It's like telling someone bitching about his piece of shit Chevrolet that he could buy a Caterham. He'd look at you and go, "huh?"

    Not a bad comment until the last two words. He simply pointed out the inherent weakness of an all electronic banking system. Yes it's inevitable, just like crass comments from anonymous cowards seem to be inevitable.

    The end result of all these wars is that individual liberty is collateral damage. The war on Drugs, on Terror, on Child Porn, etc., means that innocent people pay the price while the thing they war against never goes away. One unwinable war after another.

    Don't attribute to malice that which can be accounted for by stupidity. Congress is an example of representative government in action. Most people now are idiots and they elect idiots who make idiot laws. Hence we have crazy legislation like this that we don't even need. At least once we're all in jail we'll be safe.....I guess.

    It's not about politics dickhead, it's about just having a moral compass. Yes he broke the law. They proceeded to charge him with tons of shit he wasn't guilty of instead of just what he had done. This is an officer of the court we're talking about, not some gutter thug going "give me your money or I'll kill you" but that is essentially what she did to him. Plead to this or we'll utterly destroy your life even though we know you aren't guilty of anything but this minor stuff. It's abuse of power. They should be fired. People have every right to be angry (although the death threats are over the top) because she's not even getting her wrist slapped. I don't like the fact that so many people are sinking to her level though. By acting this way instead of calling their elected officials and raising hell they become the same filthy shit that she is. Don't become what you hate.

    Maybe they should just put a chip in everybody. Then they can know where everyone is every second and hear everything they say even if they talk in their sleep. If people have nothing to hide then what's the problem? It can't be the US Constitution because they can just reinterpret that to mean whatever they want it to. Half what they do now is unconstitutional so what the hell, quit being hypocritical and be all the big brother you can be. At least we'll all be safe from the big bad towelheaded terrorists and isn't that all that matters?
