I love when they do this kind of stuff. If they keep screwing their customers hard enough even the most moronic of them will have to eventually get a clue.
I bet ya can't. I'll make it easy for you. I'm all over the defense industry. One thing you can count on and that's war. I'm in the business of war machines and business is good!
I don't know but I'm having a hard time believing it costs more to harvest than the energy it will produce. Maybe you could provide a reference for that?
I have a Raspberry Pi running Wheezy and while it's fairly snappy I wouldn't call it thrilling. That's a fairly stripped and optimized distro with good support from Broadcom. QNX I have seen fly on more anemic hardware.
I hate that "feature" at work where we get bing as a default. I have to load the Google search page every time I want to do a search. The reason bing is fourth is because it sucks. Even the non geeks at work don't use bing.
Most likely not. The thing is though that if they continue to do it after getting slapped down for it they can be sued. That will generally bring a stop to it.
Really? The guys that drew up the Bill of Rights were, as defined by the current administration, Terrorists. If they were alive today they'd stick 'em in Gitmo. They rebelled and overthrew the legitimate government of the colonies by force. I could make an argument that they actually were more free back then than we are now. If John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were alive today they'd be on the no fly list for sure.
The Supreme Court doesn't agree about the 100 mile zone. Here is a small excerpt from one decision already rendered on the subject.
But the search of the petitioner's automobile by a roving patrol, on a California road that lies at all points at least 20 miles north of the Mexican border,[5] was of a wholly different sort. In the absence of probable cause or consent, that search violated the petitioner's Fourth Amendment right to be free of "unreasonable searches and seizures."
I guess the TSA is ignoring this which means they are laying themselves open to lawsuit. Time to call the lawyers.
Idiot. Go back and read it again. You missed the part about the 100 miles being bullshit according to the Supreme Court. They threw the case out because it was 25 miles from the border and the exception is for THE border not miles inland. The TSA can say the moon is purple but it doesn't change the damn color of the moon does it? They can't change the Constitution either no matter how hard they try.
Every school of thought has its nutjobs. People who are so paranoid and unreasonable that you can do nothing with them. It seems more and more that people have a "my way or the highway" kind of attitude. I have alienated many of my conservative friends by disagreeing with their demonization of President Obama. While I disagree with most of the Presidents positions I find it distressing to hear people speak so disrespectfully of him like he was some kind of evil person. I can off hand think of many much worse possibilities for president in the Democratic party. One of them is only a hearbeat away and if Joe Biden became President then people would soon learn to appreciate President Obama. For some reason people have become irrational about the President and I fear that much of it is in fact due to racism. I say this because a lot of the white members of the Democratic party make President Obama seem like a right leaning moderate yet they fail to hate on them at all.
Actually I'm a strong conservative and I entirely agree with them. It's the simple truth and the patent system is destroying this country. I think it's so screwed it needs to be done away with and rewritten from scratch. There should be some protection for real inventions but this incremental, "we modified this so it now works this way" bullshit needs to go. Software patents need to be totally abolished. During the early days of software development before the patent nightmare we now endure there was rapid growth. Have an idea? Go for it! Now it's have an idea, call the lawyers.
Idiot. He's not talking about metric sockets. He's talking about special tools designed in many cases to do only one thing and only on one type of car many cases. There are a lot of these tool part numbers mentioned in repair tech data but they are proprietary and almost impossible to buy.
As far as Google is concerned it makes no difference. Numbers are numbers when counting ad revenue. I think the only color Google sees is green as in greenbacks.
I just wish someone would go ahead and pound a stake in SCO's heart and be done with them. If I never hear about those bastards again it'll be too soon.
The reason Bill Gates agreed to port Office to the Mac wasn't altruism. He was at the time trying to fight off the Justice Departments charges of abusing their monopoly. Porting Office was one way to show they weren't really a big bad evil that refused to play nice.
Win-Win

Sheer genius.

With the way global warming is going according to the experts I figured that they were sitting at the beach down in Antarctica getting a tan.
I like the idea of growing Hemp! Think of all the uses!

By burns worse are you saying it pollutes more? I guess it does contribute to greenhouse gases since one of the byproducts is Water Vapor.

Try to imagine Mint running on that Blackberry. The horror.
Compared to something like windows Linux is fast. Compared to a RTOS Linux is slow. Take a look at QNX if you want to see fast.

You didn't notice the sub shadowing you? The Satellite overhead that tracked your progress? You only think you were unobserved.

Oh there is nothing so beautiful as a lovely girl wearing only stockings, heels and a mink coat.

Well yes I meant porting Office 98. They hadn't made a move on Mac before that since 94 and probably wouldn't have without heat from Justice.
