I'm pretty sure that President Obama hasn't been selling any guns to anyone. His minions got a little carried away but then this president is the opposite of President Bush. President Bush surrounded himself with smart people making him seem even dumber than he was while President Obama surrounds himself with stupid people making him seem even smarter than he is.

And really all they get are idiots. Anyone with a brain is immune to this nonsense. People that are too stupid to do anything more than whine and bitch are enticed into lending their idiocy to a crazy plot. These people are mostly a threat to themselves unless led by the hand by someone with a clue. I remember the FBI did exactly this to a militia outfit here back before 9/11 even happened. They infiltrated the group and they went from bitching about the gummint and drinking beer to acually committing crimes. The undercover agent told them what to do and how to do it and led them by the hand until they had enough to close in and send them off to jail. Without the agent they'd still be bitchin' 'bout the gummint and drinking beer. I feel no pity for them, they let themselves be led to the slaughter and deserve what they got but it removed exactly zero threat and wasted a lot of taxpayer money. At least the stupid bastards had jobs and paid taxes before, now we pay to keep the morons in jail with 3 hots and a cot.

In my world people wouldn't commit attrocities. Unfortunately I have to live in this world where people do perpetrate unspeakable horrors on their fellow men. I'm sure the majority of Muslims wish to live and let live just as most people regardless of faith wish to do. For some reason though, when people calling themselves Muslims commit atrocities in the name of Allah very few of the Muslim faithful will criticize them, and many accept and support them as fellow Muslims even though they may not agree with what they do. It's strange to me because if someone kills a group of people and starts yelling he did it in Jesus name I and most other Chrisitians can't wait to repudiate his actions. I don't really know what makes people have so much hate that they can do these things to others but I don't think it's God but their own twisted ideas and a warped belief system where they've substituted their will for God's.

Walgreens pharmacy. Their CEO is concentrated on building revenue by letting all the help go in order to pay his bonuses. I went by there yesterday and the place was backed up, the wait for a prescription was over 2 hours and they had one guy, the Pharmacist, manning the phone, the drive-thru window and the counter plus he was trying to fill prescriptions. This was never the case until just recently but now it's an everyday thing there. I hate to move to another pharmacy because that one is only 3.5 miles from the house but if this keeps up I'm outa there.

Whatever dude. Just because someone yells Jesus name as he committs attrocities it doesn't make him a Christian. They can claim whatever they want but freedom of choice is a basic tenet of modern Christianity. You can't "make" someone choose God. They have to willingly do so. Just like the wackos that blow up abortion clinics thinking it is okay to do evil to do good. It's not about the end justifying the means.

Microsoft wasn't even able to make a decent desktop OS at that point. I was using an Amiga back in 91 and laughing at all the IBM'ers. You should have seen them when they'd come over and see a multitasking operating system in action. MS was struggling trying to tear IBM's monopoly away from them and they had their hands full with that. It wasn't until win95 that they really started to dominate, before that only businesses loved them. As far as I can remember Multimedia only existed on the Amiga or some really expensive hardware like Silicon Graphics. MP3 players didn't even show upere until late in the 90's. Imagine a mobile intel 386 chip in a phone. Really I think Apple hit it about the right time with the right type of OS which is of course why they suceeded so well. Even then all the geniuses in the media were disparaging it.....as it sold millions. Jobs only looked like a genius because of his lame competition. As they say, in the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king.

This same lie appears on every single post here about any scientific topic. I for one eagerly support all exploration of the wonders that the Lord has created. The reason for the dirge of deep space exploration is simple to see and as usual it's all about the God of most people, the dollar. No one has figured a way to make money there in the short term so therefore the interest has to be carried entirely on the Governments dime. With budgets being trimmed and wars to fight that is one small dime nowadays. Personally I think it's foolish not to explore but I don't get to decide.

Not saying it doesn't happen, I'm sure it does, but I don't think it's that common. Marriage is a funny thing, I've got a nephew that lived with a girl 9 years, married her and was split up and divorced less than a year later. Again there are always exceptions. Mostly though it pays to spend the time to get to know a person before you start the sex. Glad things are working good for you. I like to see happy marriages.
