  2. Simple Solution on UK File-Sharing Laws Unenforceable On Mobile Networks · · Score: 1

The solution to the problem of file sharing is very simple. All they need do is put a government program on the computer that monitors everything the user does and reports to the people assigned to monitor the citizens. Better yet would be to build this into the government mandated operating system or even better, government mandated hardware dongle. Problem solved. After all, no one's under the delusion that they have a right to privacy anymore, right?

It's been working well for them. I sometimes think no one in Washington D.C. believes in anything.....I hope I'm wrong...but I don't think so.

capitalists don't take my money. I give it voluntarily in return for goods and services. Big Gov takes my money and does all kinds of things with it. Some good; roads, defense, law enforcement...you know...all those things that benefit everyone. Then they do things like bailing out car companies, banks, insurance companies.....things that help a certain subset of people they care about deeply, lobbyists.

I keep hearing that stuff about the AT&T network. The only thing I really hate about AT&T is the service, the network works great. I get no drops and great coverage. As long as I don't need to call the idiots about anything it's good. Of course my experience with verizon was pretty much the same. Coverage was good but their customer service was pretty much shit too. I dunno...maybe I'm too old. I remember when companies considered the people that bought their service as customers...not consumers.

Efficiency is good but sometimes the loons like to spend billions to save a few thousand dollars. It might not be the case here, I haven't looked at their numbers. Eventually you get to a point where more efficiency becomes prohibitively expensive. Tree huggers for the most part don't seem to believe that.
