  1. I fired thousands of rounds from an M-16 with never a jam. The thing I hated about it was that if you fired one round, just one round, the damn thing got filthy as hell. It seemed like I was constantly cleaning it. I'd say if you don't religiously clean it you'll find yourself unjamming it.

I remember that crap. It was fucked the way they changed it so it seemed like it was ffmpeg was installed but it wasn't. It broke so many applications and I couldn't figure out why. It used to work and then it didn't. When I figured it out I was more than annoyed. Sure if you want to change to libav go ahead but don't call it ffmpeg. I then got to compile ffmpeg from scratch. They didn't have any nifty cut and paste instructions at the time.

  4. You don't believe it's possible to disagree with someone's political position but still admire them? I admire his honesty and he's not wrong about everything. He's certainly dead on about the big banks. Strangely I don't hear anyone else running for president attacking them.

  6. I don't think Mexicans are rapists. Too busy running drugs for that.

  7. They keep getting people like you to play their game. Dem vs Rep, divide and conquer. We fight each other while they rape the country. Look beyond the labels. Hillary is in the pocket of some of the most corrupt and evil people in the country and yet the supposedly "liberal" media just gushes over her while they figuratively pat poor Bernie on the head and tell everyone he doesn't have a chance because he's "unrealistic." Meanwhile on the other side Trump is running like a runaway train because, despite the fact he's either crazy or is just plain screwing with the establishment (or both), a lot of the party faithful have given up on the corrupt bullshit that runs the party behind the scenes. They fucked us with Romney last time and then they were going to try to ram Jeb! down our throats this time around. Fuck 'em. I know Trump isn't a real conservative but then neither are any of the establishment bitches that they're pushing at us. If you want to know who the whores are it's simple. Like Bernie says, follow the money! I'm a conservative but I gotta tell you, I admire Bernie Sanders. I think he's wrong on a lot of things but he's a stand up guy. My hats off to him.

  8. It only reinforces my belief that Americans don't really want to be free. They just want to be kept safe and have plenty of toys and games. A nation of children unworthy of the sacrifice of so many of those who have gone before us to build this great country that we've begun to destroy.

  9. If they go by the Constitution then Apple wins. Lately though they've been trying to ignore that tired, old, outmoded document that limits their ability to rule over the surfs.

The problem isn't that they want to search the phone. The problem is they are trying to force Apple to help them. They have no power to do that. I just watched FOX's contributing judge, Napolitano, explain why it's unconstitutional. He basically tore the government's case into pieces and it's pretty clear that they have no right to force Apple to aid them. They tried coercion and Tim Cook didn't flinch and basically they've got nothing else.

The DoD has had some horrendous security failures. They have lowest bid contractors managing these systems and it shows. I remember when we "upgraded" to Vista and half the computers in my shop were down at any one time for...well, until Windows 7 arrived. Things improved noticeably then but still it's not anywhere near as good as the millions of dollars they pour into it should make it. I see things that make me shudder but fortunately I don't have to deal with classified information.

I think any kind of basic living stipend should be in the form of food, clothing and housing. If they want money they should work for it.

I don't want to hear about what they want to implement, I want to hear they're going to get rid of about 80-90 percent of the Federal government. I think there is zero chance that there will be an acceptable nomination coming from President Obama. It'll be someone who thinks that the Constitution should be reinterpreted so as to enable ridding the country of private gun ownership and other noxious items that bother liberals. The last moderates appointed to the Supreme Court were by President Reagan. Since then they've all been either far right or far left. Given the kind of nominee likely the GOP is going to wait until after the presidential election. If they allow a liberal nominee to the court then there will be a host of republican Senators and Congressmen looking for lobbying jobs. The conservatives in the party are fed up with the pussies failing to stand up to President Obama already.
