Trump's had some shady dealings in acquiring his billions, Ted Cruz actually has worked as a lawyer. I can't see where Rubio ever did much of anything and Jeb! made most of his money off his daddy's friends. Ben Carson was certainly an amazing surgeon and saved many lives but somehow I feel that he needs to go back to teaching surgery. Most of these guys though have spent their lives sucking on the public tit. Hillary, well her corruption has been covered so many times I see no need repeating it here. Certainly they're all far more ambitious than Bernie I will have to admit. Not sure that's all that good of a thing. I find it so difficult to get excited about any of them.

You know, use of electricity commercially began in the late 1800s. My grandfather was the first in his family to have electric lights. Millions of people lived without it even then. I can see a day coming where millions will live without it again.

  9. I occasionally rent a movie from redbox and rip them to my fileserver. Not very often though as I can count the number of movies that come out in a year worth watching in that quality on one hand. In fact, although I torrent a lot of movies I find that a lot of them aren't really even worth the bandwidth I waste on them. It's honestly a case of they're almost free and they still are overpriced.

They certainly have made it difficult enough. They'll eventually make it so much work that it's not worth it anymore. Of course that doesn't mean anyone will buy it. I made the mistake of buying a bluray player 6 years ago. So far I've used it less than 10 times and about half of that was to watch a DVD. The raspberrypi running osmc is far simpler to use and I can stream from 8TB of files stored on my server. It's been three years since I have turned the damned bluray player on.

Bernie is a political hack? I'm a conservative and not really a fan of Bernie's politics but I've always viewed him as one of the very few politicians in Washington with any sort of integrity at all. Frankly I would take him over Hillary any day despite her so called "centrist" policies. The former Senator from Goldman Sachs is hardly going to be a friend to the "people."

Probably not. But they do know the other lying mother fuckers in the race aren't interested in helping them. The entire establishment that's been fucking them hates Trump so it's kind of an enemy of my enemy thing. If you've noticed, the more the elite in the Republican party band together against The Donald the more support he gathers. Yeah, Donald ain't all that but then they're pretty sure the other guys are going to keep on fucking them just like they have for the past few decades.

Dial down the paranoia. Just like the Republicans with President Obama this terror of an individual is uncalled for. No matter who is president he doesn't act in a vacuum. Trump will have to suffer under the same limits of power that all his predecessors labored under. President Obama managed to ram through his health care bill over all objections only because his party had control of both the House and Senate. He's also spent the rest of his presidency paying the bill for it as it caused a reversal in both houses of Congress putting them both solidly into the Republicans hands and they've used that power to curtail much of what he wanted to do and they fully intend to make sure he can't place another liberal onto the Supreme Court. If Trump should somehow win he'd not only have to deal with the Democrats but he'd also have only the shakiest support of the Republicans as well. If he wants to do anything it will require a lot of compromise.

Just by nature of what he is and can do he would be the most powerful being in existence and thus deserving of the title, God. Even if you don't believe the Christian or Muslim scriptures and it really was all fiction there could indeed be some intelligent design to this Universe. All of everything we understand about our universe seems to cry out against any possibility of life. The odds against such a fragile and complex thing are ridiculously high.
