  2. HAH on Australian Labor Party Proposes ISP Level Filter · · Score: 1

The reason I laugh is the coniditon of this comming into being is the Labor party being elected. Considering they have been out of power for the past 10 years and in that time have not presented a single decent leadership team and barely any decent policies I'm not overly worried about them getting back in any time soon, I don't like the current government but I really doubt the labor party will win any federal election in the near future.

Having said that I 100% disagree with the government wanting to censor anything and I would rather see my tax payer dollars spent on important things and not this drivel. If parents are concerned about their children looking at porn they should monitor their childrens use of the computer, buy filtering software/service and take some responsibility, easier said than done I know but its not impossible.

If such a system does eventuate it should certainly be opt-in so only those that actually want it are subjected to it.

They have done alot of work to improve the game since you played it seems and people who post about a young mmo with only experiencing the initial month should refrain from posting on the subject until they get up to date info

The CSR should have recorded details to forward into the security people and let the caller know they were doing it. Then the security people could have done their thing

I agre thee GL has in the past pushed the envelope when it comes to CGI in moves how ever CGI is meant to be eye candy there should be a really plot the interaction between the characters involved should come before the CGI. If someone else wrote the dialogue and/or the script this movie would have a chance of not sucking how ever unless george has learnt from his past 2 mistakes (ep I & II) I fear the movie will be dreadful. Use real sets, use less special effects or more subtle special effects. It really detracts from a film when it is really obvious that something was done on a blue screen it disrupts the immersion if you notice it.

I personally use alot of sites and forums, I think a system with one central username/password that allowed a seperate profile on any participating sites would be extremely useful. This ofcourse would be nice if it was a open standard and not proprietry, with interfaces defined in multiple programming langagues. That was easy to impliment and highly secure (hah pipedream). For something that allowed me to authenticate to all the sites I use with a single login I would even be willing to pay a fee (within reason)

I like it with a few exceptions, only being able to filter on 2 things as opposed to lots. as for eudora *shudders* from my experience its pretty damn evil.

When I started my course at TAFE it was all old hat and very boring, unfortnatley I was too lazy to do anything about it, how ever i could have. I would recommend leaving them for 2 or so weeks, if they are still bored after that give them a weeks worth of work from the grade up, if they can handle that keep giving them that work. Alternately you could just assign additional more complicated work for these students to complete, just make sure its recorded that they have done it.
