I am surprised more riot police aren't armed with video camera's.

We had a riot at our school, cops started grabbing video camera's from people taping the event.

In one successful prosecution, presented as evidence were the tapes of a 'friend' filming the defendant rolling a flaming dumpster into a line of riot police.

Remember ATM camera shot of the Ryder trucks in Oklahoma bombing & other Ryder truck in WTC I.

I am not too sure I agree with the sentiment that video cameras dont' solve crime. C'mon if it's good nuf for Vegas it's got to be good nuf for the guv'ment.

Don't blame the car. Blame the drivers. I use to drive an automatic 1980 70HP datsun 210. By todays standard it was gutless. But if you drop the gear from D to 2 and floor it the car has plenty of power. For this reason it was fun car to drive. You could push the "performance" envelope and not get into too much trouble.

I still miss it. Slap on studs and in the winter I was driving circles around SUV's who slid off the road.

What pisses me off are guys in their Audi driving in the far left lane going the speed limit, get a fucking clue when 5 cars have passed you on the right.

A quick check from Edmunds suggests 1990 Escort are valued around $1000. Says something about their worth.

My neighbor has a newer model Focus and Explorer and they're frustrated with the breakdowns and dealer headache. Reliability aside my gut instinct tells me a 1988 Ford Escort is gutless and drives like crap. Add the extra weight of the trimmings and this thing handles like a steel tub. Outside of mebbe a geek parade this thing can't be that much fun to drive.

The paper says a special police unit has taken over the sites due to what it has termed unrepeatable words which accompanied the name of the Madonna. The police have since blacked out pages on the sites, so that surfers can now only find the words: "Site seized by the Head of Rome's Special Police Force, on the orders of Rome's Chief Prosecutor." The paper says the police have also discovered a commercial network which sells t-shirts carrying the same blasphemous logos that appeared on the sites. Print Email
