Yeah, Sveasoft isn't the way to go. They're not exactly the nicest people one earth. sending DMCA notices to google? Yeah, that's not cool.
Anyway, you should check out the DD-WRT project. http://www.dd-wrt.com/ It has all of the features of Sveasoft's firmware, and more. I've been using this firmware for about 6 months now, I've been VERY impressed with it. It has a great interface and has many fewer bugs than its Sveasoft counterpart.

Longhorn Beta Begins
·
· Score: 5, Informative
Dear Microsoft Beta Tester,
We are pleased to offer you an early preview of Windows, Code-Name "Longhorn," by extending this invitation to join the Longhorn beta program. Your participation is completely voluntary. Longhorn Beta Program participants will preview software for the next generation of Windows as well as Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. If you choose to participate you will have the opportunity to provide Microsoft with feedback as we continue work on these exciting new releases.
What is Windows Code-Name "Longhorn"?
The next version of Windows, Code-Name "Longhorn," promises to be the most secure and intuitive Windows release to date. It delivers on the promise of allowing people to use their computers more effectively and confidently to achieve their goals and pursue their passions. It offers new tools to help protect the integrity of your system and your information, easier ways to find, visualize and organize your information, and provides better integration across applications, devices and systems.
Longhorn will provide advancements in the following key areas:
- A strong focus on the fundamentals of the operating system, including advancements in reliability, performance, deployment, and ease of use.
- Major improvements to help PC users to work smarter and provide exciting new experiences for home users.
- The next-generation developer platform to make it easier for developers to create breakthrough applications.
What you can expect if you choose to participate:
You will be notified by email this summer when the software becomes available to test. The beta software will be available via download. If you elect to receive mailed releases, only major milestone releases (Beta1, Beta 2, etc) will be sent to you.
Participants can expect access to Windows, Windows Server, the Windows Driver Kit the Platform Software Development Kit as well as Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. We may make other software available as well, and it's important to note that some of the above software may not be available immediately after the program gets underway.
From my rather breif experience with this, it seems to speed up sites that are mostly database driven. Sites like Interface Lift and anything like PHPBB or PHP-Nuke.
I think you mean a huge "mass" in space. Since the real problem with teathering a large mass is overcoming the object's intertia as it is pulled along with the earth in a somewhat circular orbit.
Because it gives you an awesome boost in trade early in the game and allows you to gain an advantage over the other civs in terms of gold and science. Electricity comes so late in the game I don't know why you WOULDN'T want to build it.

And we all know how much geeks care about copyright infringement.
Off to download more music...
The very reason that Wi-Fi networks exist is that they provide simple, easy-to-use network connectivity wherever you are. Security takes a backseat to ease of use. The equipment manufacturers don't want to have to deal with the support calls if they would enable security features, such as WEP, out of the box. Adding security to Wi-Fi networks makes them harder to use and less appealing to the average consumer. Thus, it's easier for manufacturers if consumers remain blissfully unaware of the huge backdoors into their networks. But then again, anonymous internet access from my neighbor isn't that bad.
You can just get the latest binarys from suprnova via bittorrent, or you can login to the #xbins channel on efnet and receive a password to login to an ftp server at ftp://xbmp.uk.xbins.org
However I think the real question is: Shouldn't this be a connection-oriented protocol?
You see, one should send a pidgeon initially announcing that another pidgeon is on the way. This way if the second pidgeon timesout, then the receiving host can reply back indicating that it failed to receive the datagram.
I beleive that velocity is an accurate descriptor for rapidly changing open source projects. Velocity is a vector, thus it describes both a speed and a direction. Velocity could thus be used to make the statement that open source projects evolve too quickly and they change the goals (ie direction) of the project quicker than some companies are comfortable with.
This is very illigal. You don't have the right to compromise someone else's security with a trojan. Possilby you have good intentions, however, the ends do not justify the means.
You mean, something like this?
I like how he sues the article "The". He'd probably have a better chance going after the preposition, "around".
Because senators server 6-year terms.
WTF is FF 1.8?
The museum is in Kentucky.
The new 3b4 release candidate gets 66. Take that Opera! ;)
So does this Alpha.
"Face-recognition software fingers suspects"? That just sound's dirty.

Except Apple does make a high-end flash player w/ a display. It's called the iPod Mini.

Or, you could simply go to ftp://xbmp.uk.xbins.org and use the username: xbins and password: homebrew

Does anyone at slashdot actually use a Celeron, rather than, say, some variant of an Athalon XP?
