  1. Anime is teh ghey on Mac OS X replacing Linux at Tokyo University · · Score: 4, Funny

    Hey don't you threaten me!
I had to SUFFER so much just because I was born in an anime series!

If I lived on reality, I could have had normal life, but living in the twisted, infernal reality of Love Hina really, really sucks. I only wanted to have fun with Naru, but the directors won't let me sleep with her. "You can't do that!" they say, "all the sexual tension will be gone from the series once you get to sleep with her, and the rating will drop". I tell them that J.D had sex with Elliot and it didn't lead to the cancelling of Scrubs, but that doesn't help. They keep bringing me all those strange girls (Mutsumi-san or that crazy step sister of mine) who pop up the minute I try kissing Naru.. grr........

    I hate anime!!!

They are the perfect choice for a sissy like me.

Oh no Naru! Don't hit me! Gomenasai! Aiiiiiiiiiiii

PS: Love Hina sucks. But hey, what can I do. it's doomed to be sucky since it's anime. :(

  3. Oh no! on The Changing Definition Of 'Kilogram' · · Score: 2

    From the article:
Dr. Becker is leading a team of international researchers seeking to redefine the kilogram as a number of atoms of a selected element. Other scientists, including researchers at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Washington, are developing a competing measurement system, based on the imperial system, which will be defined using a complex mechanism known as the watt balance.

Damnit! I thought that this is the chance to kill the imperial system, but those crazy americans are using the metric flaw in order to promote their inferior system!
It just furstrates me again and again..

You must be wondering about the leader of MicroBSD, Outback Dingo, and his life story. So let me pour some light on the subject.
I had the questionable honor of working with Outback Dingo, and I did it for five years, when we both worked in the now-defunct Calamada Industries. It was horrible at first, but I managed to develop survival techniques that helped me to avoid him and his "work noises".

Yes, every day he was coming to the office and claiming he got work to do, and then he entered his room, put some George Michael music and started making noises. I don't even want to contemplate on what he was doing there.

After around 6 hours he would come out, all sweaty and dripping, and say: "Well, I believe I can call it a day". A real outback dog or what?

    That's right!
You can sleep with me, the sex god of the 198th century! It is no longer a dream!
Finally you can have the option of having hot, sweaty and sticky sex with a real man, not those wimpy side-sticking showbots who can tell between a clit and a skin-flap. Finally, you can moan to the night, because you'll have the best treatment. With me.

So don't wait till you die! Dial now and have an hot orgasm.

    Thanks for the reply.

In both cases, however, you'd have to get the Opie source and re-compile them for X86 since the ipk's are all pre-compiled for the Z.

Does it involve changing the source? Because I have no idea how to do that (yet).

Is there a way to run Opie in a PC? Under Linux, Windows or VMWare? I don't care, just let me experience with it!

Maybe they use a character which is available only in Windows. It's funny that you noticed that problem only because I was too lazy to do copy & paste.

Thanks for the demoronizer link. I noticed the problem of quotes that turn into "?" under certain encodings and it's very annoying.

I miss w3.11 (and 9x too). Yes, they were stupid and crashed, but you could easily change the icons of their msgboxes, or their startup screens. If you try doing it on 2K and above, you need to circumvent their digital signature check and other messy stuff like that.

And there was something nice and innocent in 3.11 - it also took it less time to boot and you could exit to DOS. Ah yea.

(Damn, the window title is so pathethic.. "JPG Compression - The Bandwidth Saver". I demand a public apology from Hemos)
