I was wonderin when they where going to start cracking down on that shit. I stopped playing online counterstrike and Red faction because of those bastards. LAN parties are much more fun cause the people can actually hear the full inflection in the voice when you scream " Goddamn campin-cocksuckin-bitch!!!"
All schools need to have this kind of activity in some form or another. Maybe it'll start bringing in the non-nerd hardcore gamers and all can live in harmony. My school sucked, they kicked you out of the lab for the entire school year if you even went to a site featuring online games. Great way to encourage interest in technology. oh yeah and screw parental approval let the kids play CS for god's sake!
Akira is my favorite movie, without question. I watch it, without fail, every single night, and will continue too until the day I die. Now I don't want some hack to come in and destroy the good name and image for those who haven't experienced it's amazing presence. And what the hell anyway could he change to appeal to more "western audiences". I mean the fucking movie is set in Japan, part of it's appeal is that it is "Japanese" and fuck all who would care otherwise. Go watch Starship Troopers if you want a good american sci-fi but don't fuck up a legacy.
