I don't see why you would have to take the cardboard out. I've put the cardboard in the oven and it turns out just fine as long as you don't turn the temperature up to 451F
I'm perfectly happy to plunk down $20 for a leatherbound Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, especailly when I know that some of that money is going to the author.
But really, don't sell just one copy. Secure an order for a lot of them then release it.
Why should authors, programmers, musicians, architects, graphic designers, inventors have to give up their creations into the public domain without any compensation?
For the same reason they shouldn't be able to scoop your brains out of your head because it contains their tune you're humming.
Nobody can communicate in any interpersonal forum as me, just in those that don't have passwords. As for the other two, it is because authentication has been thought to be too difficult to implement for them.
There's simplicity and there's simplicity. A Gradius type game can have only one button for shoot and the navigation keys and still be more complicated than a game that has one button for picking up stuff, another button for opening treasure chests and another button for opening doors. There's interface complexity and then there's gameplay complexity. Both can make a game too difficult for the player.
I think you're mistaken. By actions like not having this meeting, WIPO shows that WIPO intends to protect and expand Intellectual Property rights regardless of whether or not it results in profits for WIPO's member states and their corporations.
I've been getting tons of bounces and antivirus messages that are a result of someone else with my e-mail address having the virus. Of course, the whole e-mail infrastructure is obsolete: What do you mean someone else can easily send an e-mail as me! Perhaps if they fixed that however antivirus messages would once again be useful.
Could someone with modpoints please mod up my post two posts earlier that erroneously got modded 'Troll'?
If you are willing to play the game you should be willing to do the time.
I thought that part of playing the game was trying to get out of doing the time. Please explain to me why I am wrong.
Well, where did IBM last put their safe?

For most intents and purposes, yes, though people's memories aren't 100% error free.

And what makes you think the economy will do better with IP laws than without?
That would be bouncing a bounce. I don't see how that solves his problem.
How can a sound be "warm"?
If they're going to be that way about it, they'd be better off having the road sensors set the speed of the car, making speeding impossible.
You're assuming you can't wrap animation around motion capture data.
you have it easy, you run Linux, stop complaining
The strongest slave in a slave labor camp still has it hard.
I may not understand much about economics, but from what little I do understand, I don't see your point of view.

How do you know where the e-mails are coming from since the addresses are spoofed?

Yeah, what's with the whole 'leaving the company name out of the article' thing anyways?
Kucinich's article on Lessig's blog about Airplane searches
Kucinich on Copyright
Quote: "As a father, I don't believe our government has any business locking up kids for sharing files on the Internet."
Yes it is Spyware and IMO Kucinich is the best Presidential candidate to be most for passing laws against this sort of thing.
This should stop the IM spam.

If the GPL is invalid SCO STILL doesn't have an agreement with the developers that hold the copyright to the other parts of Linux to distribute them.
