    Alright, you're using that word too much. Afraid it will fall back out of style. Most of my life, icon referred to people certain churches revered, and then computer images and just this decade, to people and characters in media.

    Some carriers and some phone manufacturers have their own app stores. I don't think any consumers really want to use them though. Steam has branched out to beyond games as well.

    No, what everyone is ignoring is the obvious problem of not allowing recording 24/7. The writers of the likes of 1984 never realized that the real risk is the people who create black spaces, and how easy it is for "big brother" to detect blackou spaces. Talk of violently changing the system won't get you harmed too much if you do it openly in the near future. You'll just be adjusted and redirected much less than the expected reeducation camps. The real threat are the easily detected blackout zones. What happens there is an unknown and anything that is unknown is the one truly unacceptable risk to the systems of the future.

    You'd be surprised how much of the game of some of the multiplayers are loaded onto the person's PC. Somebody had Final Fantasy 11 as it was first presented to users up and running, though your mileage may vary.

    Personally, I find the PS environment a mixed bag. Some deviate too far from retail while those that try to keep it close still mess up in some manner and are run by totally inflexible people unwilling to acknowledge their design mistakes.

    We have two laptop computers with built-in microphones and so forth. Have anything for personal computers hooked to microphones to pass them to back ends. Jasper is for Raspberry Pis.

    I am very vocal about pirating. The RIAA/MPAA aren't knocking on my door. I also give out data about me like crazy. As long as they get all that other data about you they will determine that you are generally harmless and not bother you.

    My computer is generally unlocked and my main applications are almost always running.

    If geoengineering is gone at wholeheartedly, we will eventually be at a place where the world will for the most part be at the temperatures we want with rain and snowfall only occuring when we want, and hurricanes and tornadoes occurring not at all. We may even put a dent in the earthquake situation.

    Yes, yes I do, and I want them to develop systems that swing both ways in the case where if something goes too far one way, we can easily push it back the other. With that in place it can't be worse than the situation where the climate and weather is left to nonrational influences.

    We can't petition the world to stop changing, but we can conduct geoengineering experiments and take as much change into rational hands as possible.

    Oddly enough while I don't like how "government picking winners" sounds, when I hear the deals from either of them, I don't feel at all bad about it. I don't have a bone to pick with anyone, and yet I seem to resemble Lady Une (Google it) in my approach to life and that concerns me. https://www.bing.com/search?q=... (or Bing it? Whatever.)

    No, I use no blockers and relatively few plugins and browsers on Windows are much slower than the browser on my Android phone.
