    Um.... They either aided in the attacks or they didn't. If they did, he's right. If not, he's still right in a difference sense. Either way, there is no "opinion" involved.

    Are there any Free alternatives to the U.S.? Canada seems out of the picture, since they apparently put people in jail for speaking against sexual perversions. US has this stupid Patriot Act and Copyright Law junk, not to mention allowing murder for mere trespassing.

    But the phone adaptors that generate the tone usually don't do it when they can't register with the service provider.

    You don't need a POTS dialtone or service to use it for 911. As long as the wiring is there, it should still work.

    I believe KPhone lets you dial "sip:somehostname" or "sip:someIP". Unless I'm mistaken, so do most other standards-compliant VoIP softphones...

    So what if someone gets completely different VoIP service from different providers? Or even POTS *and* VoIP service? Making them pay for E911 service twice is just plain stupid, even if that's how it is for 2 landlines...

    I created an adaptor to connect a keyboard port (one of those old large ones) to my GameBoy Color... wrote a short little notepad-like "game" to work with it, but other than that... there's not much point :\

    Don't trust random devices on the network-- if you have a service you want secure, have some kind of authentication on it, don't just trust random connections.

    Belief is a combination of what one has faith (blind belief) in and what one has proven themselves.

    There's many proofs, dependent on various other facts (as all proofs are). I'm sure it can't be overly hard to find a bunch with Google.

    You can believe blindly or believe based on proofs. Faith is any belief that is not backed in your mind by proofs. Including those which others have proven, such as the existence of God.
