Clearly, you know nothing about education majors or the state of public high schools in this country.

playing on a TV is way better than emulation

What about emulation on a TV? This weekend, I've been wasting my time with DreamSNES and about 100 roms.

I agree with this rant about programming. However, since when has computer science had anything to do with programming? I'm not a CS student myself, but I've taken a handful of graduate-level CS classes. I've found that at that level, programming is secondary to the subject matter.

The relationship between programming and computer science is very similar to the one between arithmetic and math, or spelling and literature. Computer science is academic, and it has as much room for post-modern thought as any field of study.

The stainless steel cases they send out are also very nice. I don't like carrying a CD-wallet-full of music with me, I by the thought of at once losing hundreds of dollars worth of music that took years to collect. AOL's stainless steel boxes comfortably hold four or five disks, and with the paint removed, they look very sharp.

    Also from the FAQ:

eBlaster ... cannot be uninstalled without the eBlaster password which YOU specify...

How does that work? Perhaps it's tedious to uninstall without the eBlaster password, but when it comes down to it, anything can be completely removed with a few file deletions and registry edits.

I would understand if they said that only a user with administrator privleges could uninstall it, but this thing is being marketed to jealous husbands and paranoid parents. These people tend not to have the know-how to implement this on their home computers.
