You make some good points. I will make this short. Since 1999, and that's 7 years now, MS Windows has significantly improved from one version to the other. Security is quickly becoming less and less talked about as the "flaw" with MS products, save for a few hard-core-anti-everything-MS-bashers. They are definitely UP there with security (at least for Windows) and are slowly returning to their roots of features and usability. Hell, Win2k Pro was amazing in terms of security over any previous versions. With WInXP you got better security and a lot more features. I think Vista improves on all of them, and then some. Making it better with every version is all I am asking for. Making it perfect is not something I expect since it's not possible.

But from that I did gather that Vista is has a high improvement in security over previous versions, and a vast improvement in features, customization and user's control over her PC. Sounds good enough to me.

I know that the 35mm Minoltas were amazing. Took great pics. However I must say that it makes sense for them to leave the digital business. I bought Minolta digital's twice and twice returned them. The cameras looked great but the picture quality was horrible.
There will NEVER be a secure system in existence. Ever. Smart unbiased peple have been describing the perfectly secure system for a long time (somewhere in a bunker in a mountain in south america with an army around etc etc.....do not remember all the details). As long as there is someone interested in breaking into it they will break into it. What the study is not saying is that women are not intelligient. It is saying that men are MORE intelligient. But women are intelligient too. I think this has to do with genetics. At complex problem solving men I believe are better than women for example, but that doesn't mean that male project managers are better than their female counterparts. I have to agree with the study.
