Sure, at the level of individual documents nothing is being changed, but when you look at sets of documents, taken together as a whole, omitting some of them is essentially changing their meaning, _as a whole_. The example is not a straw man, it is still valid when you apply it to the level of sets of documents, rather than an individual document.
The term "queer" used to be negative. Then queers appropriated it.
Even the term "christian" used to be negative. Then christians appropriated it. (Of course, it's still negative to many, but not those that wear the label).
the negativity/positivity of a term is never set in stone.
That's not the point. The point is that we're in a constant struggle to force the govt (and corps, and other people) to tell the truth as much as we possibly can, knowing full well that we'll never get all the way there. Because if we don't, we'll end up in some totalitarian regime with no rights at all.
> We are in charge of our emotions.
> Hers got away.
that's a pretty big contradiction there!
like saying
We're in charge of our emotions, except when we're not.

"Wikipedia" it. Or, Google it along with the word "wikipedia".
speech recognition is nowhere near done yet..
...in humans. If you had said "let's recognize speech" to me in casual conversation, i'd say about 50-50 chance i'd interpret it either way.
Face it; the term is negative.

Their government to tell them THE TRUTH?!?!?

...and is expected to go higher.
Before you start going around calling people dumbasses, do you remember what happened the last time AAPL split?
SIMD units can handle integers. If it only has to count up to 8, that's basically 4 bits, so a 128 bit wide unit might could do 32 ops a pop!
