Safari on OSX sure, but Safari on OSX with plugins (specifically flash) is not so terrific in my experience. Chrome handles it much better, possibly due to their recent desire to work together.
Phones long before iPhone were not reliant on WAP but real internet. PocketPC phones way back in 2002/2003 for instance. iPhone takes far too much credit for stuff it didn't do. Also, the iPhones run terrible on Edge, which if you have AT&T can be quite often depending on your location.
Except Flash is already on low powered devices with much less power than the original iPhone 3G. Flash Lite has been around for a long time, but Apple said they would not accept anything less than Flash, then now say they will not accept that.
Try the same thing with Chrome. Safari sucks for plugins, just read about Google's response to help Adobe make it better. FireFox exhibits the same problems, but Chrome & IE actually seem to run plugins much more friendlier.
4) Adobe spoke with Apple who told them all was well, others in the game (Unity, MonoTouch, etc) had done similar and passed app store verification. Apple then changed the terms, but as usual will only enforce them by playing favorites.
If you're talking about Jack Thompson he got disbarred for stuff like that. He even harassed judges routinely. Pretty much everyone should know he's a nutcase now. We just need to inform people about Hillary.
If Microsoft has a way of detecting the rootkit, they should make it available separately so that people can test their machines before they try to update them.

I doubt there are more apps for WinCE than iPhone OS
I would take betting odds that you are wrong. Especially if we condense down all the iPhone paid/lite versions as well as all the 10/20/50/100/etc points in blahblah game junk.
My experience is that most people that don't use IDEs just don't know how to use them.
If I switch between branches or revisions (which I do often - git is so wonderful) then IDEs tend to go haywire as hundreds of files suddenly change, and then change again and again..
This for instance is not something you do while the IDE is open. Debugging is also another area where the current crop of IDE's will be better. If you use STL or something similar it can show you the raw types or you can view them in a more meaningful manner, like being able to read a map or a vector as non-complicated data types.
These days a lot of that happens to keep yields higher. They take chips where one part doesn't meet their standards and disable then, then sell it for a discount. Reduce, reuse, recycle or something. Where do you think AMD tri-cores came from?

You're right. It's not like they have to support other platforms. Let's just dive head over heals into Apple's walled garden!

You mean like right clicking and selecting "not junk" ?

4 of the 15 each BestBuy got were required to be display devices. Kind of brings down the whole actual sales a bit.
They've been doing these things for years.
Good thing they have had the ability to run Opera or any other browser they wanted then. Unlike some other company that restricts these things.

For a developer, your question has very few details. Kind of like asking why does my program crash without any details.
Anyways, post some details.
Unfamiliar with grabbing the platform SDK are we? Grabbing that is free and can be used on older versions of the IDE.
As an N1 owner I can tell you the wifi streaming does take a big chunk of your battery time.
They are very rare. If it werent for Android dev I wouldn't have installed Java at all.
DSi has firmware. The first firmware update tried to block homebrew/piracy.
Downloading music does not currently get added to the music library for playback. Editing documents is said to have similar issues.
The iPad is said to print through a computer and not on its own.
Some NAS drives work through web interfaces, but then you can't upload with the iPhone OS.
Actually this is par for the course. iPhone 1.0, OSX 10.0, iPod 1.0, etc. They all were beta sold as release.
Flash is supposed to show up on Android before July. It was demoed at CES.

So what happens if those settings were bad and your monitor was lying about being able to accept them? You're stuck with an unusable computer?
Well then it's a good thing they all have demos. Oh? You didn't know that or are just trying to troll? Why yes, Anonymous Coward does that often.
Lots of the devices that support h264 do it in hardware. Something we are unlikely to see out of Theora.
