Yes, and if you have ambitions of graduate school (ever in your life) where you did your undergraduate is of monumental importance as it *IS* THE EXPERIENCE THEY LOOK AT.

Powerlifting is already split into tested (amature) and non-tested (pro).

    See here:
http://www.ipapower.com/Enter.htm (bottom of the rules page)

http://www.apa-wpa.com/2004WhiteMountainRegional .P DF entry form showing both tested and non-tested Note that it is a differnet federation that I posted above.

The difference is staggering, but it makes things much more friendly - you cant bare animosity to those who are enhanced if you arent *really* competing against them.

Ive stated this many times, but you do have a union of sorts... They are currently petitioning congress about the H1B issues.

Okay, so the IEEE isnt a union, but they do take software engineering VERY seriously (check out the qualifications for thier certification, or pick up a copy of IEEE Computer magazine) and they DO give you a voice by lobbying politicians.

Im not sure about this because our family farm boundries have fluctuated with fair-use agreements ( the river bend changes and suddenly you are missing/gaining usable property ) over the years.
How do taxes work with fair-usage ? How do surveys work with fair-usage ? How does GPS account for this ? etc etc

It's okay to be niave, but when someone who is "on the inside" tells you different, you should listen. Two of my best friends ( fellow gym rats ) served time for disto of performance substances. Their customer list was a who's who of college sports.
Oh,Case in point... Carl Lewis was terrible, except after he could drug up for the Olympics.
Hang out with a few athletes and shut the fuck up.

As a musician ( I have no life, just three hobbies, Im sure you all can relate ), I KNOW when I sign with a label ( I am not signed ) that Im giving them SOLE rights to distribute my music. If I made the decision to sign, I gave THEM ( not YOU ) my music. Ripping and distributing is IMMORAL, without a doubt.
Whether the gun ( Napster ) is responsible for misconduct of its owners ( users ) is something else entirely.

This is par for the course. As an athlete, I have three peers who went to the 96 Olympics and said the drug testing outside of USOC was a total farce ( Including a growth hormone (hGH) detection machine being shutdown after the first two days of testing ).
This is related, because only drugged athlete's break other drugged athlete's records.
I dont think the IOC has any Olympic spirit left.
