The Model-T Ford was the first mass-produced car meant to be affordable to everyone. Hitler wanted a car like that for Germany, which became the Volkswagen.
Maybe that's true if you only associate with 10-year-olds. But as recently as 1996, it was the only browser worth using, created by one of the most innovative tech companies around.
However, even if your hypothesis had evidence to back it up, it would still beg the question, where did this God-scientist come from? What were his origins?
I remember when Napster was shut down in it's prime. I thought, OK, music downloads are on the radar of the music companies. Now they will put their 60-year libraries of music online for sale, and at consistent, high quality - it will be awesome. But they didn't. I still don't understand why they were and are so shockingly dumb and slow. The internet should have sent their revenues sky high, but they have tragically fucked it up.
On a side note, music subscription services' pricing models baffle me. I'm mean it's absurdly cheap. The folks who sign up for them are the types who like to listen to lots of different types of music, and probably were previously buying a lot of music. Now they have basically all the music in the world for $10/month. How does the music industry make money on that?
The government saw telemarketing was a growing problem, and for all intents and purposes, fixed it. Taking a decision that results in lost jobs is usually antithetical to US politicians, but they did it anyway. Thanks for representing the people!
My last visit to Blockbuster was about five years ago when I returned a DVD a week late and they charged me significantly more than if I had simply rented the video for that period.
As long as Adobe continues to operate as a somewhat separate entity from Apple, it would be good for Apple. The loss of Adobe support at some point in the future could kill the Mac, so it makes sense from a future-proofing perspective. Microsoft is slowly and insidiously removing all of their products from the Mac platform, and I wouldn't be surprised if Office 2008 were the last product the Mac BU produces. With the likes of Neooffice (soon OpenOffice), and iWork, this is less of a threat than it would have once been. However, the loss of both Adobe and Microsoft would probably be more than the platform could bear.
I think that dropping any Windows support for Adobe products would be a bad move, and Apple wouldn't do it. It would give rise to a new competitor in the niche they just took ownership of. They wouldn't give a up a monopoly in creative tools for the most popular platform on the planet.
WILLIAMSBURG DOESN'T NEED A SPACE ELEVATOR! The Space Elevator Will Mean: Less Parking, Weird Ribbon Thing, Constant Loud Whirring Noise, Increased Space Elevator Truck Traffic. Developers have submitted plans to build a massive space elevator in Williamsburg! This monstrosity, completely out of context with existing development in the neighborhood, will be accessible only to the wealthy, forcing thousands of average Williamsburgers from their homes and live-work spaces! Jobs the elevator will generate (operators, repairmen, astronauts) are certain to go to non-residents! Don't sit idly by and let this elevator cast its impossibly long, cold, and very narrow shadow over our homes! CALL 311 AND TELL THEM 'I JUST DON'T NEED THIS SPACE ELEVATOR!'
HP now dominates the Windows server space, and is #1 in PC sales and printers. They were #1 only in printers before the Compaq merger/acquisition. Maybe she didn't do so bad by HP in the long run?
It's about fucking time someone with the clout of the head of the FCC got vigorously vocal about this. Much better that Powell's focus on tit-flashing.
Please post a screenshot of this amazing phone the rest of the world has been using that the iPhone is only just catching up with. I've been searching the Google all month and haven't been able to find it.
You're missing the basic point here. You stated your belief that a universe without a creator is unlikely and the response to that was the logical follow up question: if there was a creator, how was the creator created?
..for the spring release of "Horton Hears a Who".

Oh, and Ruben Hinojosa doesn't list his email address, but his Washington office phone number is available: 202-225-2531.

Agreed. I won't even RTFA because I refuse to give him a hit.

Because, of course, terrorists are using unencrypted email to plan their misdeeds.
Ok, now that's funny.
My last visit to Blockbuster was about five years ago when I returned a DVD a week late and they charged me significantly more than if I had simply rented the video for that period.
Yes, well, they've already committed to giving me half, so you'd better get your request in.

Apple's cash position went up $3 billion just last quarter. They have about $16B in cash and short term investments.

I agree, except that there are degrees of trollness. This one was not entertaining. No copy-and-paste trolls are interesting.
Very well put. I will use this to explain my point going forward.

It seems to me that iPhone will be able to work for online banking for any bank. There is a lot that is compelling about a phone with a real browser.
Please post a screenshot of this amazing phone the rest of the world has been using that the iPhone is only just catching up with. I've been searching the Google all month and haven't been able to find it.
The iPhone is so hot, my finger is not the appendage I plan on operating it with.
