Shalshdot has a feirce grip that can bring servers to their knees begging for more power, bandwidth and better server software in jsut a few seconds:o Cruel if you ask me:(
What kind of retard uses a flash UI for a search engine, stupid graphics, and a silly way of presenting info? I'll just stick with google for now, thanks.
Finally! Wonder how long it'll last?
I just know that I would defenitely pay $5 to download a good album... perhaps one day artists (music artists, that is) won't need publishers! They can record, set up a web site, and get an marketing company to show them to the world. What a wonderful world it would be...
Hardware companies are smarter than that... aren't they? Why would you build a product that no consumer wants? So that people wont buy it?
What a brillian business strat.
Soon we'll all be cyborgs and our hearts will be pumping with a motor, controlled by linux (would you trust your heart beat to windows?), running on an AMD system. Hmm.. i like it:)
Perhaps community sites would work if we started things like voting on-line. People would start to get the idea of what the web can actually do for their community.
