    So, you think there was no western influence in the decision of the Ukraine to attempt to join the EU?

    As for hanging on to old territories, let's not forget that much of eastern Europe was Russian in our lifetime, I don't see western Europe renouncing a lot of territory either.

    Homeopathy (or other placebos) are an excellent cure for GPs or other front line doctors to offer for cvommon viral infections like the common cold, instead of antibiotics (which many patients insist on).

    I don't support homeopathy (except as a placebo), but it's a damn useful tool for first world hypochondriacs..

    The Ukraine crisis IS as much a fault of the west as that of Russia. NATO is also an organization that was created to oppose an enemy that no longer exists, and provides very good ammo for Putin to point out how the west would like to corner them..

    On one hand you call us wusses, on the other hand, you're quite quick to point out that the two biggest wars started in the 20th century were directly due to Europeans. Don't forget where the nazis came from, just remember we're a little less prone to dick waving in the rest of the world because all of our citizens got to see what war is like close up, not just our young men (and a few women).

    You obviously don't live in London, well more than 50% of the black people here are from former British colonies in the Carribean, most of the Muslems come from Pakistan and Bangladesh, and the largest group of non white folks are Indians (and additional Asians), not Arabs..

    Not exactly, first they're only indemnified for reactions to the vaccine, which can cover a fairly large amount of symptoms and reactions, but it in no way indemnifies them for failures in the manufacturing of these vaccines.

    The indemnity had to be enacted because the profit margin on vaccine manufacture is extremely low, and as adverse reactions do happen, it would only take a few court cases to completely wipe any sort of economic reason for the company to manufacture said vaccines. It was decided that the common good presented by having vaccines more than outweighed the only buyer (the government) having to perform the manufacturing themselves. As it is, an extremely small tax is placed upon each and every dose of vaccine, to help settle vaccine reaction cases in a special tribunal.

    All in all, a pretty poor example of socialize the costs, privatize the profits..

  11. No, actually they're arguing the complete opposite.

    If there are no jobs these people are qualified to do, but having robots doing it increases the productivity of society, the logical thing is to share some of that increased productivity with those unemployed people.

    BTW, the revolution won't be a worker's revolution, because if you don't have a job, the title of worker isn't very accurate.

    From what I can tell, having grown under both, it has more to do with the single centralized source (as opposed to distributed) of photons which have much better penetrative power..

    2. Look into spraying aspirin dissolved in water, it's salicylic acid, the same chemical plants use to indicate attack, and will help repel pests and mold quite well.

    Most of those countries that condemn homosexuality aren't too hot on women's rights, people that aren't the same religion as them, or people with different colored skin or birth place living with or having the same rights as them.

    It's a good investment for a society, one with billions in tax revenue. It's not such a good investment for someone whose income will be limited or possibly nil if they're unfortunate.

    It's not just about return on investment, it's about how much you're starting out with, something any decent investor realizes.
