    Perhaps in the U.S. this is the reasoning, but Kuwait bans all pornography outright.

    It isn't about protecting the children, but protecting the muslim sensibilities.

    They are pretty much the same. :-/

    Perhaps it is simple a case of the technology being too young to actually realize the 33% expected increase in performance, but the numbers just don't add up.

    Bottom line: Save your money, don't go rush out and buy the boards or the drives.

    Missiles that go longer and farther for cheaper are good. They reduce the total number of missles necessary to carry out full-scale destruction of the planet. They are certainly worth their SALT.

    Until an earthquake's magnitude rises above 6.5, it's really not so bad.

    Buildings that cannot withstand a 5.2 earthquake should be investigated.

    I don't know. I've always had misgivings about having non-compiled (yes, I know Perl is a compiled language) scripts as system tools. Removing Perl-based scripts is really a good step because it reduces the number of volatile dependencies by one.

    Now removing Perl altogether? I don't think that's a great idea at all. But I haven't read the other article yet, so I can't comment.

    Removing redundant, unnecessary, and potentially dangerous programs from the distro is a really good idea.

    Creating the symlinks just adds complexity to a system that doesn't need it.
