Perhaps it is simple a case of the technology being too young to actually realize the 33% expected increase in performance, but the numbers just don't add up.
Bottom line: Save your money, don't go rush out and buy the boards or the drives.
Missiles that go longer and farther for cheaper are good. They reduce the total number of missles necessary to carry out full-scale destruction of the planet. They are certainly worth their SALT.

I don't know. I've always had misgivings about having non-compiled (yes, I know Perl is a compiled language) scripts as system tools. Removing Perl-based scripts is really a good step because it reduces the number of volatile dependencies by one.
Now removing Perl altogether? I don't think that's a great idea at all. But I haven't read the other article yet, so I can't comment.
Ringing telephone at both ends. Well, one ringing telephone and one dialing phone.

Because step 4 has proved itself to be Profit!! enough times to make steps 1-3 a logical choice.
This is so obviously dumb, I don't know where to begin.
How about... With TiVo, et al. why would you even bother with such an idiotic invention?

Buildings that cannot withstand a 5.2 earthquake should be investigated.
.cx is perhaps the most unfortunate 3 characters to have at the end of a URL.
The plate tectonics that would have ensued from having an active core (like Earth's) has ceased, for quite a long time too.

Removing redundant, unnecessary, and potentially dangerous programs from the distro is a really good idea.
Creating the symlinks just adds complexity to a system that doesn't need it.
The result is an entertaining blend of computerized music and monotone singing.
Can you spot the word that doesn't belong?
If Jack van Impe can find it in his heart to accept Catholics as Christian brothers, can't you?
