As I travel, I see this appearing at more and more airports. I am curious if they are changing the zombie computers to offer their own ad-hoc "Free WIFI" and send the sniffed information to a central collection point. I have also seen this in hotels in major cities. It's a boon for more identity theft.

Looks like pellets for hydrogen exists from several different companies.

    This article: http://www.eere.energy.gov/consumerinfo/factsheets /a109.html

"A company in Utah, Power Ball Technologies, has developed a process in which sodium metal is pelletized and encapsulated with polyethylene plastic. The pellets can then be containerized, transported, and then opened in a patented hydrogen generator to produce hydrogen gas. According to the company, each gallon of these pellets is capable of producing 1,307 gallons of hydrogen gas, which is an equivalent hydrogen storage density more than 7 times greater by volume than a compressed hydrogen tank storing hydrogen at 3,000 psi."

I found another aritcle where pellets go through a chemical reaction to release hydrogen.

  7. Fuel Cells Will Create Other Problems Eventually on Ethanol to Hydrogen Reactor Developed · · Score: 1

I believe we will run into a similar problem as now if we continue to use fuel cell's. The main idea of switching to fuel cells is to eliminate greenhouse gas production, and eliminate dependence upon fosil fuels. While fuel cells do not produce any hazardous byproducts, they do produce the most notorious greenhouse gas - water vapor. Once fuel cells become more mainstream and are used for just about everything. The production of water vapor will increase, creating a worse greenhouse problem then carbon dioxide ever has. This is just a theory, but I don't think fuel cell's are the answer but a temporary solution.

Apparently some people are paying license fees, If you take a look at their most recent Quarterly Report

"During the quarter ended April 30, 2003, we recognized $8,250,000, or 39 percent of our quarterly revenue, from our intellectual property licensing initiative, SCOsource, launched in January 2003."

Obviously some people are stupid enough to license.

Most geological surveyers can use gps equipment with post processing of data allowing you to find your location within a millimeter or two. Its pretty common within the US as well. Look at http://cors.ngs.noaa.gov to find other projects going on in the US. They are also using GPS to watch the Gulf coast sink. Your little hand held GPS receivers are limited to wide error because of processing power and the type of GPS signal they use.
